Hey there! I was debating whether or not to keep posting updated versions of the map, as I'm waiting for blizzard to release a new patch which will hopefully fix all the bugs 1.31.1 brought....
For now, this map only works for 1.29!!! With some loading issues, especially about 10 hrs in where you might get a "Ran out of storage space" error....So if you go to test this map out, just be warned, and make sure you create a bunch of save files through out your progress.
The storage space error ,which 1.31.1 was suposed to fix, will hopfuly be fixed in a new patch....So until then-
Anyhow, in this version~ I....
* Fixed an event on the toxic hills where you could leave and find Luna outside in the Tech world, essentially allowing you to skip half the game :p
* Removed the anti cheat trigger for this version, for testing purposes....
* Made Miles easier to see :p
*Fixed some camera issues where it would be stuck behind walls "Still have to fix more ,when i'm not so tired :p"
*Added an event to Tenokey city where you can now buy upgrades for the dark knight "not 100% Finished with that place...
*Made a better prize for the hard difficulty mode mini game on Coral fall island
*added a new treasure in twisted Crystalus
* Buffed the main characters up a bit
* Added a better prize for defeating Abaddon
*Beautified the Item descriptions
In the next update I hope to finish up the battle arean and maybe add a few more hunts..
also polish up and beautify some locations, such as Tenokey city, and Tristone city.

After a rough launch Good and evil 2 is finally starting to come together~
Fixed up a few things such as~

* Beautifying the Earth Temple and Crimson forest
*X Potions actually restore 5000 Hp now :/
*Removed units that weren't supposed to be at the ending of the game
* Added Gifts of the chosen in the merged world, at Robins place, and brought it back to the shrine after beating the game
*Attempted to fix the *Blank screen bug that for some reason occurs after the Pirate tower defense mini game *Still need to test it, as It only shows up while playing through the game 7 hrs in :/ Super annoying :p

Seventeen years ago, Mabicore set forth to take the worlds four crystals....
Crystal guardians from each of the crystal kingdoms arose!
After ten years of war, they defeated him!...The world since has been at peace....
But there is a greater war going on....somewhere between worlds.....


The story is 100% Finished, along with most of the sidequests.
It would take you about....30 hrs to finish everything maybe? Maybe more, maybe less...
I really had to rush in the end of the development stage
as I'm not sure how the new reforge would affect my map,
the 1.31 didn't seem to like it very much....but I tried to tidy it up as best I could :)
There are some things I would like to change and add in the future
after taking a nice looong break, like the job system, it needs to be tweaked a little....
* If you're wondering why the Warrior sword skills aren't working properly,
it's a bug...To fix it, after picking up the warrior job in your first slot,
try placing it in another slot for skills such as Flametongue and Numb blade to work....

The Gear wars Mini game needs to be finished...
and finally, I would like to add Npcs and finish up the dialogue
with those that are in there....

If you go back to Goldshire after getting the DK, Hoolen stays under your control.

Darowin's Tower:
* ... So what's with the upside-down/conjoined head statue doodads?
* Several gaps in the walls look like they can be crossed.
* Giant circular floor doodads with a big fin through the middle should have doodads blocking off the half you can't go on.
* Horizontal conjoined head doodads should be taller, otherwise they look walkable.
* Arcane Golems' healthbars float high above the golem, often offscreen.
* I agree, that was very awkward.
* tier -> story / floor
* T2:
** There should be a ping on the barriers to the south when killing an orb.
** The east-side Good room with an Angel Bangle has no walls, so you can walk onto empty space.
** During the cutscene, both statues had two orbs (one of each).
* T3:
** Towards the end of the cutscene (the zoom into a starfield), rocks and logs are still present on the edges of the screen.

Nick and Nicholas' portraits are the same.

Finished (and well worth finishing). Good plot (though somewhat confusing at times), good music, good characters.



A quest log would be very nice, both to keep track of what you're doing, where it needs to happen and with who, and recapping the story.

Skippable cinematics. PLEASE. They're well-made, they're informative... but when you repeatedly have to sit through the same one for a minute before you can get to a boss, they really lose all their charm.

Job system was kind of clunky at times, and there really should be more SP powerups/a way to exchange them for money, at the end of the game I was sitting on more than 100000 gold that I had no use for, while the single job I'd mastered (due to lack of SP) was Ranger.

On several occasions, characters change clothes/hair color inside the same cutscene.

Skybox is sometimes missing.

The text is understandable, but you might want to run it through a spellchecker.

Storage system is convenient, but 3 boxes just isn't enough as the game goes on, should be 1/character (and with longer pickup ranges). Maybe have a "send all items in area to storage area" spell, as this would prevent one world's items from showing up in the other one.

Phoenix downs could use a better system than the current one (especially since they don't stack). Maybe make it a global resource (food currently only serves to tell you how many Life Points/NPCs are currently "yours").

All-black floors (especially in the modern world) really don't look good. At least they should use some kind of tiling.

Towards the end, battles became less about abilities and more letting item crits do their thing.

Item auras should stack, otherwise there's little point in finding/making multiples of the same one.

Life Points should have a full-heal ability, it'd be used a lot more often than Life, which is easily available through the White Mage job (I think I used the White Mage version less than five times total, and the Life Point once).

Unit tooltips (mostly those of the "click to advance plot" variety) should be corrected (or at least not use the Siege Engine's tooltip).

Item and job upgrades are good, but they should tell you what the upgrade's abilities are, especially if they lose one ability in the process (i.e. Black Robe regenerates MP -> White Robe regenerates health).
* As I mentioned, job upgrades seem completely arbitrary, especially in terms of spell damage from one level to the next or how long a spell remains at the same level.
* Maybe some kind of combining method?

Things I'd have liked to see:
Chuku being reunited with the island goblins, Duncan & Clyde & Kiye meeting, what happened to Clyde in the restored timeline, Robin trying to get back everyone she lost thanks to the crystal, what happened to Alucius and Seth, Nick / Nicholas remeeting at a safe distance...



Now to wait for 3.

I just started to play this a few weeks ago. Cause of the recent release of the new patch for wc3, I am holding off on playing it until they stop releasing patches, since I'm pretty sure saves don't cross over to future patches well. Just wanted to say though that I was amazed with the world completely changing to a modern setting in the area we just explored in a medieval setting. That blew my mind. Fantastic stuff! As soon as they stop updating 1.36, I will pour all my time into finishing this great piece of work. (Probably shouldn't rate it 5/5 before finishing it, but I will anyway because I can tell it is a masterpiece just from what I have seen).

On a side note, your explanation of 1.30.4 being a requirement is very misleading. Back when reforged was released, yea it was super buggy. But now the game is very stable, and you are chasing people away by saying it must be played on 1.30.4 and not on "reforged".

Oh hey there! Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I'm glad you were enjoying it! :) Oh? It's actually working for you on the latest patch? :eek: Hm, I recently bought a new computer, and tried testing it out on reforge, and for whatever reason it's still not working for me :/ For example, the music is out of sync, when entering new locations the music ether doesn't play or plays a track from a previous cinematic which didn't play for it.
I also tried testing a new map I'm working on, and during the cinematic it completely froze... Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I have to revert back to 1.29, as it's the only thing that seems to work :(

Nice animation of Lea getting out of bed and turning to her side
Good choice to not dump too much info at the start, letting us play around with the heroes was nice
"This is where you were found" yea, my mind already thinking Talo is some adopted son of some chosen one
Spells only added if they are put into first inventory slot.
lvl 11 cave pool too strong for me, though i like how you added high lvl zones in the early game forcing us to go back and explore
The sound of shooting, and how sudden it is- frames really well how a civliziation without guns would react to such firepower
It is good to have Miles start in same position as the kids when map started but in the other world- kind of shows the juxtoposition well
Wow, the entire town changed when moving to the other world? That is incredible
Love the plane scene
Nicolas is speaking to Lea when they separate after prison break, but he is looking at Talo (about remembering what he taught her as a guardian)
Buffs should be removed before cinematics start
Really wish the class spells had QWER
At the start of the game, i thought talo would be Lea's love interest, but I guess he is too much shorter than Miles to compare with him lmao
OK, now we go to the high tech world, almost like chrono cross where we flip back and forth between worlds
So since there is a "nick" in the high tech world, does that mean there are duplicates of each character?
Also lol at how Kive is at a speech talking about how the plane went missing/everyone died, then Miles (who was on the plane) phones him
When reaching Dunan to save the rebels from being attacked, there were murloc creatures inside there (like from the water cave in the magic world)
When I killed the last of the murlocs with the help of the soldiers in there (after I saved Duncan), some random guy said "report coming in some players like to cheat-- I will let it slide for now"
Interesting plot twist-- i was sure Alcious or the creature controling him was the tyrant king, not the kid who overthrew him
So, we are given Kiye as solo hero, the one guy who is the most useless of my group :( AND BLOODY ROBIN, same as the first group in the rescue mission
When i first got Luna, i accidentally flew south out of world map and triggered some kind of dialogue (i so relaoded right away incase i fked up something later on)
Love the foreshadowing in the plot, so much to guess at
Is there any reason not to go back to low lvl places and farm easy lumber?
For the moth boss, I was searching the exact area the snakes appeared, didnt realize i needed to go north...
For the pirate TD part, emeny units have 1-2 seconds where they can attack towers when they spawn, so any towers nearby are going to die
Ha, so we cant take the sword and go unlock the shrine ourselves?
"3 thunder gem" the prize from hard mode TD, only adds 6 damage, not 150
I'm going to have to wait till I have my full party to beat that hunter quest turtle.
The error you mention in the cinematics doesn't affect 1.32+
The guy telling Miles his life is about to become harder from now on: probably cause all my healers are in the other group
Drunker brawler's healing spell doesnt heal the caster
I'm very grateful all chars rez after cutscenes-- could only beat mech seth by passing the drunker bralwer role between Kiye and Miles since it can only heal other people, not caster, and only 1 of them survived I think
Mabicores malaice escape scene- quite exhilarating
I love the water lower and raising mechanic in the underwater palace- awesome
"Perhaps we all just meant to drown in our sorrows" quite the poet
Luna death made my sad
Was Luna's sacrifice worth it? Did it even kill that demoness?
