I know I'm new, but I have been thinking about this for a very long time!
There would be a great backstory to it where the Goblins used to be with the Horde, then became neutral!
It could have all kinds od new units and sounds, Lots of scenery like maybe even fireworks going off in the background and people watching, and also delving into the facts of them to make the place look great.

I think this would be a fantastic idea!

#2: Yes a campaign does take time to make, but if we get multiple people to make models, etc., It will not feel as long, and most likely be better.
#3: Since this is made to be a group thing, I have no prizes except an awesome outcome. The theme is pretty much anything you can come up with as long as it sticks to the goblins in general. RPG would be better but any will do as long as it is done well. This could be a group thing by you guys or a single thing. Since I am new I have no help really except to give this idea. Any comments are welcome as long as they're progressive.

I'm sorry, but as cool as both Goblins and a campaign about them would be, you seem to have no grasp on reality.

Even if you were not making a custom race (which, for Goblins, you'd have to; and for anything else, makes it more interesting), the amount of time and effort needed to make a campaign is tremendous. Besides, how can you judge? The ways people could tell the story are so vastly different; yet all of them would have many common elements (greed, bombs, gold, etc); it'd be hard to say whether people were cheating off of each other's ideas.

No offense, but it's just silly. Even having a "Goblin Techtree" contest would get hairy; too many people, all with similar ideals.
