and how do you do it with photoshop? i have no idea what version becous then i would have to use a friends computer but could you tell me anyway on the version that you know of
Go to masks > layers > load from alpha channel > load alpha channel 1 > edit > select the pure black on the palette > paint or spray it on the part when needs it alpha'd out > save to alpha channel > save as .tga with NO compression.
that sounds wierd you imported the textures in 3ds max? was that bevore or after you editen the skin? well if you just edited the skin and you want it saved the correct way just do save as make it the name you want and maka it an .blp file there is nothing you have to change when you save it (maybe the name if you want backup's)IF you use adobe that is
