I know that is a topic only saying that you shouldn't post your first model, but if I don't post him, how I will improve it?

So, I'm having some problems with animations, I already did:

Stand
Stand - 2
Walk
Attack
Attack - 2

And some of them look to robotic, or are too fast, or too slow, but I'm really bad with details and I can't see whats is wrong. (This is worst with people, also, I don't have good facial memory).

Making fluid human motions has always been an animators worst nightmare

All advice I can give you is looking at videos with people running, fighting etc.

And practice making those motions with ur model over and over till you get the hang of it.
Thanks, I already downloaded some swordsman models and I'm looking their animations.

I think my stands are really good, Walk needs a bit more frames and keyframes and attacks animations a total revamp xD

My advice is to get about 2x the frames your using for your attack anims, try something for attack - 1 like if the character lunges forward and jabs with his shoulder, just do the basics and make it seem more and more fluid from there. For the next one, just try a normal swing with his other arm, just try to animate his legs too, like if its a strong swing, his legs should move to accomodate the movements. Just watch some of those oriental kungfu movies, see how their legs accomodate for each movement.

The walk animation looks better now. (Just don't try looking too much at zoom xD)

The attacks animations... well, are much better, looks more human, but.. are too slow! "Attack" uses 13 frames with the attack itself and "Attack - 2" uses 11, but looks like more he is giving the sword to the enemy than attacking it >.<

Someone have any ideias how can I improve it?

(All attacks uses 25 frames in total)

Edit: The .mdx file is updated with the new animations.

Texture needs some major work, and the model seems a bit disproportionate

As for animating, a major thing would be timing. Try to get a feel for how long animations need to be

I calculated based in diferent models, and I got 25 as the number for attack animations. But even with 11 the animation look slow and very smoth
