Here's something simple that you must know/do when you play footy, these tips is for a Full house(3v3v3v3) footy:

  • Generally:
  • Allways attack together unless it's a baserape.
  • Don't be the first to attack. Wait for your enemies to attack each other, and then attack them in the back.
  • Don't feed. If you know your units die fast then don't send them out. You'll just give your enemies money.
  • If you want to leave then give all money and items to your team first!!!
  • Remember, if your hero dies. He often get a lvl behind your enemies heroes. So don't die!
  • If you get baseraped by a hero with cloack of flames and high armor (most often Crypt Lord or Avalanche), don't attack him. Instead run out and attack some of the enemies units. Don't feed!

  • Mercenaries:
  • Catapult: A moveable cannon tower
  1. Costs 500 gold
  2. Gigantic splash, over 100 dmg
  3. You'll kill hundreds of footmen with this
  4. But watch out, it easily get killed.

  • Heroes:
  • Sheep: If you get sheep DON'T leave! Coz he's almost as imba as avanlanche, ofc only if you know how to use him!!!
  1. Sell your boots. Now you have 325 gold, you gonna need them for a zeppelin. So get the last 175 from team and buy the zeppelin.
  2. Get your teammates Jaood rings, now you should have about 750 hp (+150 hp each jaood) now you won't die that easy
  3. Your starting spell should be sheepfall
  4. Use Sheepfall when there are most units to hit. REMEMBER to surround your sheep with footies when you cast spells!!
  5. If your teammates won't help you: nothing to do.. call them noobs and leave without giving them money or items
  • Blademaster: He's quite easy. Classical herokiller.
  1. Get something that causes lifesteal (e.g. mask of death)
  2. Get Claws of Attack or Claws of Ultimate devastation
  3. Get speed/armor/agility[e.g. Firehand Gauntless or Totem of might]
  • Cryptlord: Imba in high lvl
  1. Get Cloack of Flames for baseraping and fast killing of footmen
  2. Get Firehand Gaunless for high armor
  3. Get Belt of Giant strength for more hp, so you can baseraper for longer time, baseraping
  4. Locust Swarm in lvl 2 and 3 gives you ridiculously much hp from your enemies
  5. Spiked Carapace owns. In level 5 you return about 250%dmg and get (+30 or +45 armor)
  • Avalanche: Known as "The Imba"
  1. Scroll of speed should always be used for fast sneak attacks
  2. Get Scroll of Beasts, now you should be able to kill the most heroes(about 800hp) in ONE hit!
  3. Get Cloack of Flames for baseraping and fast killing of footmen
  4. Spiked Carapace owns. In level 5 you return about 250%dmg and get (+30 or +45 armor)

I did neither like it in the start. But when you've learned how to play then it's fun. The only prob with the map is that you'll have bad odds with a noob or a leaver on your team. And it piss me off when i say that usually 40% is noobs and leavers...

A sheep is usually weak with out allies. I sometimes play against a friend just 1v1 and if he picks sheep I usually have a hero who has some sort of invisibility spell and I just draw his troops out eage them and mine in combat, cast the spell run in and slaughter the sheep.

So basically you're constructing a Footman Frenzy guide bit by bit? Maybe you should write a review for it and then just either add the guide to the end or link to it.

Naah. It won't be perferct and contain all heroes. I really can't figure out a ownage tactic with alchymist :p so no review from me :p

Footmen Frenzy is by far the best footmen map ever made, and in my mind, one of the best maps around. Anyways...

Alchy can be played alot of ways, most of my clan mates use him as a healer, but I use him as a tank my self.

High hp and high damage, but he's slow, so I usually get him firehand gaunts, claws of attack (depending on how the game is going, you can get +100 claws, transmute is nice xD) and cloak of flames for Immo and armor.

Level 1 - Acid bomb
2 - Chemical Rage
3 - none
4 - acid bomb & CHmeical rage
5 - none
6 - transmute (Spam it! always try to go for higher level units with the most hp left)
7 - acid bomb & Chemical rage
8 - Healing spray
9 - None
10 - Acid bomb & Chemical Rage
11 - Transmute
12 - none
13 - Acid bomb & Chemical Rage
14 - none
15 - none
16 - acid bomb, chemical rage, & transmute
17 & 18 - Healing spray.

With acid bomb, you can drop units and heroes armor to negatives, use chemical rage, with a pair of firehand gaunts and some claws of attack, and watch units drop. I usually keep a slot open for pots (Mana & Healing) that way I can always use transmute and just keep tanking.

Jaood:
For noobs, ALWAYS max bloodlust... omfg this spell is so uber... Okay, so a level 18 hero (w/e hero it is, wont really matter) is pwning you and he has like tier 0 or tier 1 base. And your a level 13 jaood and your not doing to well (well obviously if your 13 and someone else is 18 your not doing to well :\) Buy a tank token from your back shop, thats 900g, if your teammates are having problems from that same player or team, you can probably talk them into pooling you for the gold. If you have the money, also buy a scroll of the beast. Get full life and mana, just in case, use wind walk, go to the side part of his base, use the tank token, then the scroll of the beast, and bloodlust the tank. Guess what! that Mother effer is dead. Careful though, a good player can easily counter this with a renegade wizard...

Few words about fox, if you get him, just pot whore and gg you win.

Dark Ranger:
When going against one of these, just HOPE that they're dumb enough to use black arrow. When they do, and you see they have an army of like 20 ghouls, get a jamie and dispell them. Easy cash and exp. If they snipe your jamie, just start using the rod of dispell from the mid, its 200g and does 700 damage thats plenty enough to pwn his ghouls. When using a dark ranger, if you go black arrow, and you see a player thats smart enough to dispell them, either stop that player (kill him, if he's using jamies kill them - or better - charm them xD.) However, if you can't don't use black arrows, you'll just feed him. ALWAYS, max silence, at high levels (I believe 5 and 6) you stop ALL attacks, so you can walk into a base with tier 4 units and literally disable all of them. Can you say hax? xD. I think thats all from me for now. You might play heroes differently than I do, but don't diss on my strategy's if you don't like them... or can't execute them right... Enjoi!
