okay where to start. I have never EVER mad a map in my entire life, so I'm completely new at everything. Yet I still want to learn, I want to be able to make something worth playing. Not just for me but for others, just like everyone here does.

My problem is I guess simple enough, for most to answer but I can't seem to find an answer to why its happening.

Whenever I create a map, no matter what happens, and no matter what kind of map I try to create. Every time there shows a "little padlock" on the file when I save it. No matter what I do I can't get it to go away, and there for I can't even play my own map against the computer. I'm not sure what to do to get rid of it either, can someone help?

Mind you its prob. a very stupid question, but than again as I said before... I have never made a map in my entire life.

I didn't think of that, I'll try it and see if that works. I tend to save them in the "map" folder for WC3 TFT. I'll try saving it under one of the other two to see if it still happens and I always run it under the administrator of my computer. I'll be back if it still isn't working

Make sure you aren't saving it in an area that has restricted access or usage. Try saving it under Desktop or Documents or something and see if you can run it. Also, make sure you are the administrator of the computer. (or running as administrator)

-.- I feel like a compete idiot. Thanks for your help, it works. I thought that I had everything in my laptop saved as me working as the admin. But apparently not, I thank you very VERY much for helping me with this problem
