Well, .blp files are images/models added to a warcraft map. I want to know how to open these files out of the game. Thanks.

look in the tools section.. you can find many wonderful little programs there that will help you

Specifically, WC3 Image Extractor 2. Wonderful little tool right there. Of course IDK for MAc users... Does GIMP serve for this purpose?
