Easier Way to Add Attachment?

Too sad my last thread has no respone. But never mind it, I think it should be closed right now...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right now I add attachment using Magos Model Editor and add it manually one by one by copying the location. And it takes really long time to set the position.

So my question is any other easier way to add attachment?

By this, do you mean how to add attachment points, or how to add attachment models?

The points are done just as you describe - using the node manager in magos mdoel editor, or when you export the model in 3ds max. When using magos, i usually either copy the coordinates of a nearby bone (for instance the hand bone, if i want a hand attachment), or otherwise i create a dummy particle emitter and edit its coordinates to see where i want my point.

If you are asking how to attach models to a unit - you just use an ability or a trigger. For ability, i recommend you base it off "sphere", set "art - model file" to your model path, and "art - attachment points" to whatever point you want to attach it. Cooldown, missile art and other stuff should also be tweaked.
If using triggers, you just use the "create special effect on target" action. Remember though, that you need to save the effect in a variable, or a hashtable key, so that you can destroy it once the unit dies, otherwise you will experience bugs.

You can add an attachments by making a hidden passive spell that has no effect, and put the attachment in "Art - Target" on that spell
