Yes I know what your thinking, "he would boil to death!" And your probably right, but this is fantasy right?

I am making this hero for my campaign, but i am having some problems. Mainly animating. I tried to follow a couple of tutorials but I didn't understand them at all, could some animation savvy person help me out?
By the way i am working in 3ds max 5

Show me a screenshot of your dope sheet, showing all the animation note keys you made.

Other than the fact that you have two note tracks under objects, it seems like it should work fine.

Can you attach the model so I can have a look? The mdx I mean.

You have to set the controllers of those items to TCB. You have to select the item, go to the tab with the wheel on it on the right, and under "assign controller" select TCB for all three.

TCB position, TCB rotation and TCB scale.

What do you mean? Just...export the model, with the correct Dope Sheet information.

I have the same problem- there are absolutely no tutorials on how to do animation in 3DS max and its pretty complicated- in gmax there were no colored keys.. I need help animating my model. I just fixed the TCB thing and now its saying theres no ending to my animation keys. How do I add the ending keys and how do i make an interval as Stand and another as Walk etc? I just know how to place plain-old keys.
