Drakkari Blowpiper v1.1

UPDATE:

Date: 21/09/2018.

Changes v1.1:

- Modification of vertices in the hair, and part of the neck.
- Improvement of attack animations, (now move more limbs).
- Change of particles (saliva), by poison.
- The skull of the crotch disappears now in the attack animations.


This is a troll of the drakkari tribe, he needed a unit of rank for each race, but he did not want to use the traditional creep unit of the ice trolls that throw hahcas. Then I thought of a primitive weapon, and a blowgun occurred to me.

Again, good potential, but very boring edit for now. Maybe find was to make the model look more unique. Also, find a proper event object sound for the blow pipe attack.

    The model sounds quite promising, it could be used for assassin and scout units.

    However the attack animations could receive some minor improvements.

    Yes, I have considered it, but at the moment, it's fine that way, I suppose, when you see an added v1.1 in the name, you know that I added movement to the legs in the animation.

    Like he said. It is weird that when he attacks, the lower part of his body stays still.

    Another thing is that his attack movement is incredbly fast, which is unrealistic for a weapon of this size.

    Attack 1, could perhaps be improved upon by setting him on 1 knee and letting his blowdart arm resting on it for stability.

    Attack 2 could perhaps be improved upon by setting his body in an 90 degree angle from his target. and holding the pipe with one arm. kind of like a musketeer's strike position behind his blade

    I like this idea for trolls. Maybe not bubbles when he blows. They might be missile models we can use for this unit, some sort of dart.

    Great idea for a model. When using attack - 2 he drops his hips, but the belt buckle is stationary. Only glaring issue i noticed. Well Done.
