    Have you tried:
    - Vampiric potion (previous effect before explosion)
    - Incinerate special (explosion)

I think you can do it via the doom buff... The begin effect will be the birth animation of the Doom buff, while the explosion is the death anim of the doom buff

Hmm, maybe I can work this out with your suggestions.

Yeah, so basically what you'll have to do is to be creative and use different models in combination to create the right visuals.

    Example
    [IMG]
Here I used a dummy unit with Wrathion's SunSpear model as its unit model. Then I rotated the unit 90 degrees (Art - Maximum Pitch Angle (degrees): -90) and scaled it up 8x. Do stuff like that in combination and trigger when the dummy units should spawn and disappear and you'll have yourself a nice effect.

PS. Everybody can't be expected to have played Dota 2 so if you provide a picture or reference to a video or something showing off the effect you might get more answers.
