Doodad - Undead Wall WIP

Hai.
I'm working on a Doodad wall, for practise.
I've came to the wrapping, It's almost finished except for the things that sticks up behind the pillars.

I'd like some comments on it though :]

It's looking good in my opinion. Nice shape and fitting texture. Could you give us a poly count?

PS: You need to give some texture to the 'walkable' part of the wall (the part on top). Right now it isn't really textured, so that still has to be done.

I really like the wall. The big spikes on the front make it look very intimidating, and the whole thing just *works*. Do you plan on making a walkable wall pack like xXm0rpH3usXx over on wc3c? That is the only wall set I know of that's actually made to be walked upon, so there still could be a need for more.

One more question, did you fix the problem on the left side of the wall on the first picture?

I was mostly thinking of doing a sort of End tower (or something like it) and a gate.
If you want it walkable, there's always the platform destructible.

But as i wrote in the first post, I'm mainly doing this stuff for practise :3


And with "the problem" do you mean with the texture?
because the texture looks solid right now.

Yeah, I think that was a texture issue. I know nothing about modeling, so I wasn't going to even take a guess. The gate is going to be sweet! I hope you plan on making an actual massive gatehouse, and not the weak things that Wc3 uses :p.

I'd hate to add to the workload even more, but perhaps a stairway to get from ground-level up onto the walls? And with that, probably a wall with its back portion removed so that people can move onto it from the stairs?
