I never skip school.... I like Science and Computer and English subjects and in quizzes I frequently pwn my classmates cause I got the highest score or d best or decent essays.. With school, DotA gameplay and more online games and chat w/ friends after dismissal time are also a great way to spice up average days..

meh I never skip school , I missed 1 day last year in school and it was because I was sick.if Im skip school my teachers will put a ''-'' in the register? and when they set grades they'll look at them. What I mean with the register is , that if Im sick and dont call the teachers they pit a ''-'' in the register , but since Im rarely sick I dont call the teachers because they know I dont skip school :).

I like Science, Math, and computers.
Sadly, they only teach anything new about once a month, leaving the rest of the time for my mind to wander.
I never skipped school without my parent's permission, but I did leave "Academic Probation" a few times. "Not a punishment" my ass. Looking back, I should have skipped it every single day.
I'm home schooled now, so there's no need to skip the endless hours of irrelevant boredom.

I don't skip individual classes, its pointless and more trouble than its worth. But if something's going on then i'll skip the day, for example, every time we go to Church i'll skip and come in late. Sorry, but Church is incredibly boring, and I get to sleep in about 3 hours longer too, which can't be beat.

Plus, we get school cancelled enough due to snow to have at least 3 or 4 days off each year, plus PD days, which are fridays off every few months, and holidays, etc, make it bearable.

I am an auditory learner; I cannot skip school ever. I need to hear the material lectured before I learn it well. On the other hand, I hardly ever have to read textbooks as a result.

During school, I always attended lectures and rarely read my textbooks.

Sometimes, bout once every month or two, depends how desperate I am to not go and it also depends on the lessons, if I could i'd skip english and maths, but i'd go for science and history, on account I have a realllllllly good history teacher, sadly he's leaving :( and science well... she goes off track, you start with something like genetics and end up with fruit fields lol, and then theres the point everyone knows - going to socialise.

I never skip school. Why would I? It s just boring not to be there...

I'll agree with you.

Let's see what does I do at home:

1. Homework (boring)
2. PC (Not boring, but ... I prefer be with my friends then staying at the PC)
3. Nothing else.

At school, I normally:

1. See my friends (cool)
2. Laugh (cool)
3. Do sports (cool)
4. Study (sometimes boring, and sometimes cool)
5. Cool stuff happens at the school (Does I have to say that it is cool?)

_____
I prefer to don't skip school then.

Nice to see someone that agrees. We have the EXACT same opinion.

I don't skip school, except for some individual classes sometimes. I am a very good actor as well, sometimes I force the blood from my nose, go to bathroom, and then return saying that I cannot follow the lecture. Teachers always let me go :p

How the heck can you force the blood from your nose?Teach me!!!

BTW i skipped school as hell, and I'm still doing it.I lack willpower.I promise to myself that ill go to school tomorrow, but i just end up hanging out at my friend's house,at 7 AM,drinking her gross coffee.Dunno why.

Just in this school year,i got more than 200 skipped classes.I just hope they'll go easy on me like they did the last year, and the one before that.

But you aren't a moderator so you have no power to negative rep, and on top of that, I think it rather clever, to be able to fake such a thing so as to get out of class, but I don't even require that much, I could easily go up to any of my teachers and tell them that I was not feeling well and that I was stomach sick and they would have no choice but to let me leave class and go home earlier, regardless of evidence or not.

I never do, unless I am actually sick (I'd have to have thrown up first before I'd consider leaving early) but i'm just saying, if I wanted to, it would be that easy.

Japut3h, you are going to end up without a job, as a burdain to the suciety. You should be ashamed of yourself, or at least go to school. This applies to everyone that skips school frequently.

You don't know me,so you can't tell what my future holds or how i should feel for my actions.Anyways,I'm going to a high school for photography,so my future profession has nothing to do with maths, chemistry and the classes i usually skip.I'm probably the best photographer in my class(not that I'm bragging),and my father has worked with many modeling magazines,so i have an open path in that business.

No matter how much i skip school or don't study,i always grab the book in the end and get more than just passing grades(my total score is usually about 4.00 out of 5.00).Ive been doing this since i was 11,and it always worked for me,although i admit that my professors wont tolerate it much longer.

I am not ashamed, and even though i am lazy, and can't force myself to study till the last moment,i am still working on bettering myself, and my future. You can rest assured that i wont become a burden to someone like you,or the "society".

Yeah, such a statement is totally ill-founded. People don't have to be book-smart to be successful, hell if you have the right street smarts you can skip college/university altogether, get a shitload of work experience and then make more money than those suckers that went to school for 5 years ever would.

The amount of education one recieves is not related at all whatsoever to whether a person will be a "burden to society".

:) If you hadn't read a book titled 'Rich Dad Poor Dad', you should. The school teaches mostly stuff that you don't really apply in the working world.

Oh yeah, as goes for skipping, my college sucks as if an attendance for a module falls below 85%, you'll get debarred from the examination for that module. :p This makes skipping more strategic as you need to plan a schedule on which days to skip to fall nicely on 85%. (Although you can don't attend the lectures and still get attendance for it via tapping the student card.)

I don't see schools teach about money, cash flow unless you're in an accounting or business management school. It's obvious when people spend their money earned from their high-paying job on liabilities so that they will need to work harder and harder, just to get stuck in the rat race.

So say, you can apply trigonometry in your daily life I suppose? You can write a resume composed of the theory of special relativity? I'm sure these will help out a lot in the working life!

The only useful thing you pick up from studying in school are working habits. However, studying even useless knowledge helps you improve your thinking a bit.

And in your future,90% of you will see that its not easy to earn some decent money without any work,so if you got used to boring classes and books in school, you'll probably find it easy to do your job, thus, easy to make money.

What working habits? Useless knowledge will only make you dumb, wasting your time pushing stuff into your brain. A person's ability to process information isn't determined by this 'useless knowledge'.

Whoa so everyone can get used to boring stuff and it becomes easy to make money! You do realize that you can make money aside from having a job right?

You do realize that 90% of the population earns money by doing jobs?If you get used to studying on time, and not skip exams and tests so you can make it up at the end of the year, you will probably do your job more responsibly than the slackers without being bothered by that.

And yes,by studying "useless" things, you might overload your brain for a day,and feel dumb but when you wake up tomorrow it'll be just the same.

And also by studying, your brain capacity does increase a bit,as well as your memory and the ability to think.

A person's ability to process information is determined by how much he uses his brain.Even if you study things you don't need, you have to use your brain in order to memorize it.

It's like doing mental push-ups.Your hands will hurt and be useless when your done doing them, but tomorrow, you'll be able to do more than today.
