    We locked the camera to the angel they use in Diablo 3.
    And lock camera to unit doesnt work becouse of the pits inside the dungeon.

    Yeah, i was just joking in my last post, i know whats going on, lol.
    The bugs from 1.7 was fixed ages ago and the few Inventory Bugs SHOULD be fixed now. Now we are making items so that the inventory will be usefull.

    For all the people complaining about frame rates and how WC3 options make no difference. It is logicall they will not. The map uses a lot of imported models and imported models have no low quality equilivent and thus will always appear no matter the options (or they will not appear at all and mess up the map).

    Things that will make a FPS difference are, lowering render options in your display drivers (turning of AA and simlar), lowering the resolution at which you play (from HD to low res) and also closing background applications to free up system resources (no MSN and stupid junk).

    On my PC I get between 10-25 FPS or lower and can still play, you do not need high FPS to play. My specs are nvidia 7800 and P4 at 3GHz with HT and 2 GB RAM.

    However on the other hand, my brothers computer with 8800GT and intel quad core with 4 GB RAM only runs the game at on average 40 FPS when it can run games like TES oblivion with settings past MAX at 60. You think the map is bad? Well actually that is with 16* AA and 16* AF enabled and all render options at highest quality, without that I am sure it will 60FPS it all the time. Thus this proves the game is graphically demanding, as normally at the same settings maps are run a 60 FPS.

    I say a lot of the lag is caused by long view distances and too many models. Reducing the view distance would help. Badies which are weak should have lower poly models as they are highly numerous or decay faster. Any models that can not be seen should not be there. And most importantly, adjust the camera angle to be less intensive (change angle so less terrain is visable and thus shorter view distance is needed). With the camera, a change of a few degrees here and there can give benifits for more than a few FPS.

    In short, if you are using a computer with an older or weaker than 7800 graphic card, you should consider not playing this map if you are fanatical about having to play with rates of FPS above 20.

    Also for CloudWolf
    You can not manipulate doodads with triggers, they are completly unselectable and merge with the terrain. This is because doodads I believe have no widget properties. Destructables on the other hand can be manipulatd as they are widgets and have stuff like HP and building like properties.

    WC3 does have basic clipping, it only renders what is visable. Vew range helps this as it only renders what is within a certain range of the camera. However additional objects have additional effects next to just graphics on the game. More objects mean more process intensive clipping and more time for that kind of thing.

    Thus for ultimate effeciency, try trigger creating as many destructables and stuff as possiable and convert some doodads to destructables. Thus for example once you leave an area you could remove its destructables and make new ones in the new area reducing the total number of handles at a time and unnescescary opperations. Wether this is effective though I do not know.

    I tried turning most stuff off or turning it as low as possible in my ati CCC. However it didn't really change anything at all. Maybe 2-3 FPS.
    So whatever I do, I won't be able to play this map smoothly ^..^
    Doesn't matter though, since I've played it often enough.

    By the way I don't need super Graphics but I need a fluently running frame rate. Else I can hardly enjoy the stuff ;P

    Uhm dude, did you say you have 20fps? cus thats enough to run smoothly. A television only sends 16 pictures per second, but maybe thats not the same as FPS?

    Televisison is 30 / 25 FPS. . . Get it right. 30 = NTSC 25 = PAL.
    HD and new formats are also at 25 for full and 30 for semi full HD.

    However those have motion blur so look at a much higer frame rate.
