Excuse me (i'm sure there is a thread like this somewhere) but I need help exporting a model from Gmax. I got one to export with Dex but it's animations wont work ingame or in warcraft viewer and the bitmap doesnt show up in either (it's all team color). I looked around to find out how to fix this and found that I should give it bones (it's just a box that turns into a ball so I didn't give it any at first) and that I need to use .tga files instead of .bmp files, so I went to work on fixing it but now the Dex wont work anymore and I forgot what i did, or how I found out how, to fix it. please help. I made 3 animations "Stand 1", "Stand 2" and "Walk", there are two objects "Ball" and "Boxy", and two bones "BallBone", and "BoxyBone". Oh and I saw in the Magos' modeling tutorial that I should set the FPS to 960 so I did that too (this was an attempt to fix the animations) it forced me to have a frame count of 0-48000.

and I've searched through endless forums all over the web. So, yes, I've tried googleing it.
Please help, i've spent about 22 hours over the last two days learning how to use all these programs:
Warcraft 3 Viewer
War3FileConverter (aka Yogbuls file converter)
MdlxConv
NWmax (tried it but couldn't work it)
VertexModify (But I want to make a true custom model)
War3ModelEditor (Same thing)
WarShape (Couldn't work it and same thing)
'DeX 0.185m (obviously I didn't get this to work)
import3ds
nwn_mdl_v03b2 (yes two versions of NWmax, same problem)
impexpmdx (don't know why this doesn't work)
(not Gmax because I already knew that pretty well)
I think thats all. It's probably just a link away. I just can't find it. I'll keep on searching but If u know please point me in the right direction. I'm a very good modeler and could be a great asset to the Hive Workshop, and the rest of the World Edit comunity.
