I love the idea, but IMO you should add some shading on the bricks.

the trouble is that when it wraps around the body, the appearance of bricks is completely lost due to the warping of the wrap. the skin itself could do with some more garden-themed objects and details to help provide a bricked feel; garden gnomes and flowers. stuff like that.

NO Gnomes. But more plants is a surething.
I'l also look into adding more shading to the bricks.

Also Tee, in my opinion the bricks look allright, even when wrapped. I guess there aint much to do about it...

One thing that i myself have thought about is that theese bricks are round, and not flat.
Also, i'm not making my bricks multicolored.

Well, what I tried to point out is that there are gaps into the wall between the bricks, while your skin is flat. There's no problem in the round bricks, I've seen that idea before, but you need to make the brick look like bricks, not paint.

Though, i personally though of the black lines as theese gaps.
They have to be white?

No, they don't have to be white, but it would probably be easier.
I think you need to make them a little broader, so that you can fit in shadows between them(as seen in the picture).

Do this and I'm certain that this will look great.

would certainly up the score of your picture from 2 to 3 or maybe more. Imho

I were on the road to various places to get tests yesterday, and when i finally came home i went to sleep ASAP.
I'l inform you when i've updated it, though you can possibly see it on the first post.

Edit: Allright... i'm currently doing some more "Jungle Style" leaves.
I'm making them alot darker, and in some cases alot bigger.
Opinions on that? (screenshot of prototype leaves will be posted later.)

Leaves need to sprout naturally from the cracks in the brick and give it that forgotten feel as well as give some vine flowers
I know the effect your going for is maby something like this

But I think gives it a better effect though I under stand it would be harder maybe use a vine as a brush pallete? and decrease size/rotation/skew/lighting with each one? just a sujjestion good luck!

Yah, you're right. I might wanna redo the way the leaves look.
Though, in the specefic place that they are now, they actually look okay on the skin.
