Hm, Im not sure, but are there cinematic capabilites on WC3. I mean, are you able to add a Cinematic at the beggining of a single player campaign for a player to watch? Or, do I have to wait for SC2?

Thanks,

I do not understand what your question is.
Yes, you can make a cinematic with wc3 editor; there is an action category called cinematics.
You don't have to wait for SC2 to come out before making cinematics with the wc3 editor.

Honestly, I awsered your question but I have no clue what your question is.. explain it a bit better please. :p

hehe, wrong cinematics. I'm talking about can you import your own movie files (in their movie form) and play it at like, the end of the campaign (A Campaign, not like, a multiplayer map). Like the cinematic where Arthas kills his father and such :) Thanks for the help though :p

I think i've played a campaign that played the "Archimonde destroying dalaran" cinematic, I wouldn't of deleted it so if you want I could go over what campaigns I have and find it for you. :)

Unless that wouldn't be helpfull at all?

What I mean is, for example: you use the Play Movie action. When the mission ends for a player, and whether that player has won, lost, or is simply abandoning the game, that player will watch the movie you ordered to be played.
Nobody can watch it while playing. This is no bug: Blizzard did it intentionally.

Alright then. That leads me to two more questions.

(A) Where is this play movie action under in the triggers, I only see enable cinematic

and

(B) Is it possible to play your own movie, instead of Blizzard pre-made ones?

Thanks,

You have to copy your movie into warcraft III\Movies\
your movie has to be the same extension like movies in campaign (".mp<something>" i think)
and if you are making a campaign which you'll later upload somewhere you will have to upload movie too. There is a program "ImTOO converter" which converts .avi into that extension.
