At the end of the cinematic will be enough tbh.

    You're very fast :)

  2. It's great, but, for me, the textures of entrance gate and blood of those two guys that die in the pit of spikes, don't show.

So it doesn't show up as a model? Weird, it is shown for me just fine, maybe your video settings are not set to max?

I'm quite satisfied with your results APproject, tough one thing that bothered me were - animations. Choppy and laggy movement of animations, unrealistic animation speeds and drastically crazy facing speed was absolutely ridiculous. But on the other hand it was very interesting to watch and was well-made. Tough the egyptian setting is a little too overused.. You could have used Sumerian, egyptian setting is really un-original. In-fact, I already knew on what was about to happen at the first seconds of the film, that was the fault of "egyptian setting".

Thanks, A Void. :) Not sure why exactly turning speed sticked to you though. Yeah, Egyptian setting is nothing new indeed, yet it is new to warcraft in my opinion, because I haven't seen any egyptian-like cinematic or even a map around Hive. No matter how cliche things are, it can be good as long as it is presented in a fresh and quality form. :) I know it is silly to make excuses, but I rushed with the content, because I was in fear that one month is not going to be enough to make more unique cinematic.

Good job, Tickles. Although camera work could be a little bit better, maybe because of tight areas you were forced to lock camera and change its direction with those sudden and rough changes. Personally voice was annoying at some point, because I could not follow without reading. Oh and I could not skip it. But overally it was great and it is truly a quality cinematic. For me crediting part was the most impressive though. :)

It is the last day for the contest and only two entries out so far. It would be cool to see others joining with their entries.

Got a decent portion done, but not enough to make an entry I am afraid. The small time window and ambitious idea didn't quite match up alongside my other obligations.

It would be very, very easy to get third place at the very least if you guys have at least 3 minutes of content in your unfinished entries right now :prazz:

I'm hoping at least one or two more entries come in, but what happens if they don't?

For myself, I will not submit a half done cinematic just to get a place. For me this contest was the to produce A full cinematic and do something with a story I've been wanting to put into a movie/cinematic.

Officially the deadline has passed. You could either decide to extend the deadline, give first and second prize or just cancel the contest as a whole. But I guess that is Pharaoh_'s call.

Yeah, but it would be a shame to have worked so hard on something and not make use of it. Although Chaosy did say he'd keep working on his.

Would you guys be able to finish your cinematics if Pharaoh_ agreed on something like a week extension?

An extension would be a fine thing to do considering there are people who are willing to participate.

An extention would work for me. If it wasn't for this contest I would probably not have opted to make the script I wrote with the wc3 engine, cause it is rather robust and outdated.
