I think that these mods are abusing mod powers too much! Only because one statement you get 2 day ban! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

We were just dicussing some language, polish for example, and th'n Mini-Me came and said that we are not allowed to speak another th'n english language in chat.. We were speaking english.. just discussing another languages...

Jesus... you guys, you were speaking in foreign languages. Mini-Me clearly stated at least twice only to speak in english. Then he banned you both for 66 seconds, and when you returned, you continued the foreign talk, and Mechanical Man said "fuck you" to Mini-Me. How can that NOT deserve a ban?

I think the punishment given is fair. If you have any more problems, you should deal with the administrators (Admin Contact forum), because that's what's IN THE RULES. Please read them.

Nobody said your language was inferior. The site is english... that's just how it works.

It would cuas lots of english people to get confused.

Do it in whispers and its fine, but people started talking in a differnt language and it was VERY confuseing and annoying. The rules there for a reason, its really really annoying... Just do it in whispers..

EDIT: By the way, right off the bat what do you want to do in the chat? By the time you complain enought to get unbanned the 24 hours will be up.

If there are bunchload people talking and a massive discussion is going, of course I will pm, but in this case, barely anyone was active, only later hindy and minime came. In this case some extra statement won't cause much trouble, at least something is going on and some members as I said, could get something useful from there. But I agree, if the whole conversation is in foreign language even only with few members, kick is of course needed.

And I was whining because banning a member for 2 days instead for let's say 5 min, which would be more than enough.

Btw, you moderators can read and write posts in admin contact?

I can understand that you dont have a long attention span, but bare with me for 5 more seconds and I'll explain why you can't win in this case.
Take a look at your posts in this thread. What is the case you are presenting to others? Your case is that I am 'a nation-hating-nazi'. And how do you then back it up?

1. You call me a nazi, aka. flame me

2. You exaggerate with comments like this: "So, even one phrase or one letter in another language is forbidden?". You know full well I warned you guys TWICE in about 3 minutes of time (I wasnt really taking time so the 3 mins is more of a guess), so I was being more than lenient with you guys.

3. You belittle the issue with comments like this: "That's funny... Too funny for me to stay here "

So I hope you know understand that you dont lose this case because I am a moderator and you are not. You lose it because you dont have a case or you suck at presenting it.

Mods have banning limits, to my knowlege mods can only ban for a max of 2 days, chat mods a max of 1 day and some mods like raging a max of 10 minutes for ban abuse.
Only mods that ban people can unban them, no other mod may unban a another mods ban, only Ralle can unban other peoples ban and perm them to my knowledge, this is what i heard from wolve.

Mini-Me, although you have a point, please warn them slightly more before before slapping a 2 day ban, or reduce it to a 1 day ban.

As for the people involved, you your selves are partly to blame. If a moderator asks you to stop doing something, please obey and stop (listen to them). By doing this you will help stop such situations as this from arizing in the future.

Anyone who thinks the moderators here abuse power are wrong. Most sites, even good ones have even worse abusers so stop complaining about this.

This will eventually result in hostility so I am closing it.
