Channel Auto-Cast

Is it possible to make Channel an auto-cast ability?

You can not turn any non-auto-cast ability into auto-cast ability
I.E : You can't turn channel an auto-cast ability because it's non-auto-cast.
I.E2: You cannot turn Storm Bolt an auto-cast ability...etc

Thus, you have to base your ability on an auto-cast ability such as Searing-Arrows or Heal...Etc

Autocast abilities seem to have preferred targets too, so use the right base. This tutorial can help with the selection. If you notice any other behaviors, please list them.
