ok this is pretty simple:
first u need the picture save it as .tga file and it must have the sizes 128x128 or 256x256 other sizes of ur image dont work
just import the imgae to ur map and change the path to : wc3mappreview.tga
Well, the way described by Tr!kzz and Thanatos changes only the PreviewMinimap, not the real minimap. If you want to change the ingame minimap, you have to make a 256x256 pixel big .blp file, import it and change the path to war3mapMap.blp.
Then ingame your edited picture will be shown as the terrain of the minimap!
But I think there aren't many possibilities to use this with sense... only one, also I use.
