Changing a unt's Movetype

Is it possible to change a units movetype (like, from foot to flying) with triggers or abilities without making another unit for it?

you would get better results from posting in the right thread, but yes. its possible

You can use triggers to make a unit from foot to flying.
You add ability Crow to unit and right away remove ability crow.

would the JASS function be: ConvertUnitType (int) ?

you add the crow form ability to an invisible spellbook (search forums for how to do that) and then order the unit to cast it to fly, then cast it again when u want the unit to land

Crow form changes what the unit is, Crow form DotT (Druid of the Talon) is a different unit than regular DotT

i'm not really sure if this is what you're talking about, but El-Burrito made a system for flying based on DBZ.. you could just modify it or at least get a general idea from it.
