Change Hero's Weapon/Armor Type in game threw triggers?

Can this be done?

For instance, on my map it goes:

Melee gets an extra damage bonus against Ranged.
Ranged gets an extra damage bonus against Magic.
Magic gets an extra damage bonus against Melee.

Well, I have a dueling area in my map and I was thinking if there was a way to do this it would balance the duel better.

If it could be done I would change both Hero's armor/weapon type to hero so they do no extra dmg to any type.

Is this possible?

I know gameplay constants has where u can change the type for instance what damage type does extra/less to X.

I already have this setup.

What I am asking is. AFTER all of the gameplay constants and everything has been set in the editor. CAN you change the type that the hero has IN game.

For example: Hero 1 has piercing weapon type and meduim armor. Now, can this be changed with triggers to be made hero weapon/armor type while in certain region on map?
