Well, I have a unit, and I want to change its range to say, 2000. It looks okay in the editor, but ingame, the units range goes to 500, and for artillery, 1000. Why?
well this can be a block maded by the we, look at advanced-> gameplay constants and see if theres any limit, elles it can be that you havent increased the Acusioin range (cant spell to it =P), the Acusioin is determinating if you are able to aim for a unit at a top maximum range, you can find this right befor the attack1 information for any unit and shuld be able to find if you look at the melee category at the object editor.
Due to limates in the WC3 game engine, It wants units to have the same acquisition range as range. This is so they auto fire and do not just stand there although they could. Increasing it is the obvious and easiest thing to do.
