Why wont it let me go into the resized area of the map?

Say i made a 64x64 map, and i finished it, saved it, and opened it, could i change the size or no. im guessing not, just wondering though.

Edit: Yes i figured out you can, but it wont let me go into the newly added area, why not?

Somewhere in the map options, there's a camera resizing box with arrows that allows you to stretch the map out at some point.

But I believe it needs to be a multiple of 32 in order to work.

Well, as far as I can assume

You'd have to square your map off, or rectangle, and then make a minimap for the area to overwrite the current one. Don't know how troublesome or possible that is, however.

Good to know I can make a map of a certain size, increase the size and have it stay proportional to the original on the minimap, though.

I've had to remake my map terrain/etc from scratch before because my map was too big. It's not that bad if you just tab between the two maps and copy the terrain/etc/data.

okay so basically go to map options in one of the top menus, then go to map size and camera bounds, in that "view" there should be a check mark box in the bottom right of that menu that says" apply to map bounds" then you just increase by a factor of 12 and press ok!

why cant i go onto the added section? my camra wont let me, and the camra bounds are the same as the map size.

its so wierd i dont get it,

EDIT:
God this is dumb.

It shows the new portions on the minimap, but the camra wont let me move out into the new section. its liek the map is still the odl size.

Do NOT double-post. Use the Edit Post button.

I don't really know what the problem was or what your request was, but I changed the size to the maximum allowed size, and it seems to be working, so...

Test the map, it wont let you move into the new added area. I dont know why.
