Camo skins

Hey my friend gave me these skins for my new project "After the zombies"
here they are are they good?
if so please leave a comment witch look best and tell me cause i wanna know if i should use the most liked one.

they look unfinished and very plain, they lack shading aswell
if i had to choose i would say the 2nd one looks the best out of them

Very nice, like kalam said, the second one would make a great sniper, though if that is the case, I believe that it should not have those lights, if it is possible to remove them.

The first one looks good, though a bit monotone, it doesn't look like they have much shading.

I personally like the 2nd one better, but the 1st one is a good regular infantry unit.

I agree, the 2nd one looks better. But it doesn't have a nose.

I think that ALL camo skins are destined to phail, just cuz its camo.

Try adding some shading, and dont use filters.

The 2nd is better, try something different with the first one, a bit darker green and brown, like the US. Marine Woodland camo.

well hmm idk cause duh its repeating i mean its suppose to thats how skins are its a mirror image in both sides.

I actually do take that as a insult. I've never before stole work or have done anything wrong on any site you can ask anyone here I follow the rules to every step, I've never before broke the rules. I take massive amounts of time out of my day to sit down and answer emails about skinning and texturing, I never yelled at any one or said no to any one when it comes to them asking for help. And honestly the reason I wanted to see the unwrap because it looked as if it had tears and repeats in it and wanted to make sure what I was seeing was just affect from the wrap and not the actually texture and can point out many flaws in the wrapped version alone that people who didn't spend 15 minutes looking would see I take my helping very seriously I don't mind being bothered or studying the skin for hours at a time to find flaws in your skin so you can have a chance of being famous but I could care less now because you have lost my respect.

Sorry a bout the other day, I probably shouldn't have taken offense to what you said but the whole day I was getting yelled at by everyone for the 5 days I was gone and almost every map I had in current projects where stolen by my co-manger and then my friends ditched me

My ranks went down on different things, my guitars got hundreds of dollars worth of damage because my little brother decided he wanted to practice with out me being there, I lost important papers and then I got on just to tell them I had to drop out of the skinning contest because I broke my arm and can no longer skin as well and then I came over to help you but then what you said drove me over the edge and honestly I have no excuses for yelling at you.

hopefully you can find it in your heart to for give me.

The best I can say is that the textures are, well... ugly
There is no shading, not much actual detail, the camo doesn't even look like camo, and that's all it is... camo. No variety

I actually like BOTH of them. I really do. I'd use them both if I had something to use them for.

The second one looks like you just pasted a photo onto it and didn't care about shape and or shading.
Seriously if you want people to judge your work and crit it, post the unwrap.
And not in tga form, upload a jpg to photobucket or something.

ehh they both are...pretty bad. They both lack shading or highlights of any sort. The second one looks better but not great.

Both terrible, flat and just a simple pattern application. Post the unwrap as I cant give advice on wrapped textures.
and whats with the "if you cant do better then stfu" bs? We dont HAVE to be better to find and pick out and crit errors, what planet you coming from?

To be quite honest, the first one looks like a WIP shot of the second. The second i find to be one of the better camo skins I've seen. But the first... scrap it and throw it on the pile.

well i haven't been able to update the skin or really get on if you didn't notice i haven't been on much lately. thats because i just got back from vacation and i spend more time outside with my girl. but i will try to update soon. plus me and my team are working on our map as much as we can so it takes time out of checking on hive.
