I think they "hate" this, because CnP of icons from other games is one of the... lamest copypasta there is, not because of the game it's from (and I think it's unnecessary to say that this still breaks the submission rules?).

Never played and never will play League of Legends. Hence why I did not know. But other than that LoL does get a lot of hate from the Warcraft community because the game is somewhat based off DotA I guess? So it wouldn't surprise me one bit if people disliked something based off that game.
