Anyways, as for the icon well you should use color, and actually draw something instead of jsut lines. ( No offence ). Also this icon lacks a light source, the light just seems to be coming from the middle.

Its to monotone, even if that is what you tried, I suggest adding a wheel colour with brown, red and a yellow light glow.
