For some reason I can't link the model to the icon so here's the link: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/incursor-49866/

Desc.

Aye, I am using this model for my map and it din't have an icon for it, so I made one myself. The quality isn't too good but it does the job done. If you want to edit it just ask for permision first.

Keywords:
incursor, naga, serpent, myrmidon, royal guard

GhostThruster: permission shown, though you still need to either draw him a fitting jaw & mouth, or choose an angle that better depicts the model.

Use the dodge tool to bring out the highlights. The image is nice but too dark.

Here is an example:

Sorry for the unauthorized edit.
I placed lines across so no one could use it.
2 minutes with the dodge & burn tool.

Thanks for showing it. Yea I found a way to fix it. I think this is better, updated it. Any thoughts?

Still a bit dark and blurry. Did you use burn and dodge? I would up the contrast a tad too. Maybe sharpen a little. Mostly the burn and dodge though. Set the strength low though and use them sparingly. Notice how I darkened the outside and lightened the center. This draws the image out and makes it look more 3D.

www.pixlr.com/editor if you don't have the tools I mentioned.

Looks much better, but now I would darken the shadows. It needs more shading so that it looks like there is light coming in from a direction. If you notice in my example, I highlighted the top of the head and the snout and darkened the gills behind the head. This brings out the shape. Try shading the side of the face and the background with the burn tool (
burn-tool-icon.gif
). Set the strength on low.

No need to download pixlr, lol.

Also, on your next update use "f8zcg4" as model id to link the Tarrasque's model to icon.

Edit:
One more thing, shorten the link of model to "http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/incursor-49866/"

your shading is fine, but the angle you used makes the guy look mouthless and jawless, which is completely the opposite of the head seen in the model. the big difference in sharpness between his head and the armour below it also makes his head look disjointed from his torso.

also where dat permission at

I already said that the angle is almost the same as the myrmidon one. And yea idk where my permission is.

Yeah, but this isn't the same as the naga myrmidon
Maybe a slightly more zoomed out and side ways angle can show off his mouth better yet show all the detail
