I dunn know how to shade pure light

I dunn even know if it's possible, since pure light is invisible since there is nothing for the light to reflect off of

And highlights? The whole damn thing is a highlight! :O

Review
Good:
Good over all effect, i can see some uses for this, it could evan be used as some sort of arcane spell. Could be used as an explosion aswell if you look from the side. Smudge is used in a pretty epic way. It fades from from bright to dark and has overall good lightning.

Bad:
Not alot to say here. Maybe where the tendrils are concentrated you could give a litle more wariation instead of just having it purely white.

Ideas:
If you dragged the whole thing back, made it less square you could end up with a very good icon for something like arcane bolt, or magic missiles.
You could flip it over to the side and would end up with arcane explosion that way

Ooh, nice review.

But try to use tags, such as [ box="Name"][/box] and [ h2][/h2]. Mess around with them a bit.
