1. Lesser Evils like Belial and Azmodan.
2. Some of the heroes from Diablo II gone evil.
3. Diablo, he is more than likely back.

Hmm, fighting Belial and Azmodan would be pretty awesome.

Yeah, Diablo is probably the main boss.. again.

They better make him harder.

I doubt they'll have heroes from D2 as bosses you have to fight. It would be odd.

I can imagine just how awesome the End-Act boss battles are going to be. The fight with the Siegebreaker Beast thing was more intense than Baal and Diablo in Diablo II, and it was just an interlude boss.

Considering how the Heroes from D1 were as bosses in DII it's more than possible. If you don't know what I mean then:
1.Rogue - Blood Raven
2.Sorceror - Summoner
3.Warrior - Diablo

And Blizzard has even said that the heroes of DII are mostly either dead or insane in DIII so it's more than possible.

Wrong.

Demons aren't killed. They can't die. They are banished back to hell. Diablo could have easily thought of a way to escape.

It's actually Diablo's host who died. Diablo can take over bodies and control them and his strength determines on how strong his host is. That is why he tricked our hero in Diablo I so he could posses him and gain his strength.

Yes, well either way - Diablo is back.

They wouldn't make another damn Diablo game without the main Antagonist in it.

Diablo might not have possessed anyone at all. The destruction of the world stone might give demons or atleast the Prime Evils free access to Sanctuary from Hell.

i think that hero who killed diablo in d2 will be possessed and he will kill most of barbarians in harrogath(thats why they have abandonet areat) and going to rule the world (again)
All of the classes of DII were supposed to kill Diablo II, at the same time. They pretty attacked Diablo together instead of just 1 guy figting Diablo like in DI. I'm pretty sure Diablo is in his "hell" or "pure" form as in his form without a host now.

The Worldstone was also somehow related to the soulstones but not sure how. I guess it was what weakened demons in Sanctuary or something like that, but now it is destroyed so perhaps demons may roam freely, atleast the Prime Evils.

I hope diablo III won't be going down the same path as D2. One of the few things i didn't like about D2 was that unless you focus on one specific skill or build, you're pretty much fucked. Choosing an ability to see what it looks like screws you over because you're wasting a skill point. The limited 2 skill interface contributed to that. I'm glad we now have the quick-swap feature, but i hope that not all skill caps are 99. I want to see more variety in combat.

And you guys are offtopic :p

For you who might want to find out the true story about what happend and everything, about the soulstones and such, read the Cain's Journal. This is the whole story from d1 to the end of d2.
(I somehow noticed that I dont have anything to say about the bosses, so keep in mind that I know this is offtopic as well:p)

Well. It is rumored that Lilith (Mephisto's daughter) revived Diablo single-handedly. So we'll be seeing him. Azmodan and Belial are most likely to finally appear, and Lilith herself as well. As for the corrupted Diablo II heroes, I don't believe they want to repeat the story. Well, despite the Rhatmian ideology, the Necromancer showed some hunger for power. Maybe Zayl will have something to do with his possible corruption, perhaps act as a quest giver. Another thing I suppose is that we may face Tyrael as he was possibly corrupted by the shattering Worldstone.
