This is a remake of the classic Angel Arena Allstars map, originally created by Youkaiz in the 2000s.

The game features two teams, at the start of the game players can either pick a hero or have one randomed for them. After this they'll start at their base where they are able to buy items and leave the base to fight creeps and other players. Every time the hero of a player dies their team loses a life, the first team to 0 lives loses the match. The basic Angel Arena formula.

Blokkade's Angel Arena Allstars

Blokkade's Angel Arena Allstars (also know as Angel Arena Allstars 2) is a remake based on the original Angel Arena Allstars by Youkaiz. This is a brilliant map but it is very unbalanced. For this reason I (BLOKKADE) started updating it back in 2018 together with Merex. As time went on editing the protected map became more and more frustrating as it limited us quite a lot. For this reason we decided to start a complete remake of the map with the goal of retaining the feel of the original while also making it more balanced and turning it more into our vision of what the map should be.

Where Angel Arena Allstars is different compared to the other games of the same genre is its balance and focus on grinding creeps for gold. There are no bosses that drop essences that allow you to get them as your hero and stopping other players from getting them. Instead there are 5 taverns locked behind 5 bosses, when you defeat these bosses and are above a certain level (depends on the game mode) you temporarily gain acces to a tavern containing gods. The gods are almost always better than starter heroes and have mostly stat-based abilities, making them scale better and more competitive as the game goes on. There are modes that allow for duplicate gods, balancing the game if any of them prove unbalanced. We generally strive to make the game as balanced as we can while still keeping the original Angel Arena Allstars feel.

These are all the game mode options available at the start of the game for player 1 to choose between. Once a choice has been made the other players have the option of voting to continue with the choice or to go witht he default game mode.

All pick (unique)Each player can choose a hero, once a hero is picked it becomes unavailable to everyone else.
All pick (1 per team)Each player can choose a hero, once a hero is picked it becomes unavailable to players on the same team.
All random (unique)Each player is assigned a random hero, once a hero is randomed it is unavailable to all other players.
All random (1 per team)Each player is assigned a random hero, once a hero is randomed it is unavailable to other players on their team.

50% game speedReduces the gold bounties and experience gain for each enemy killed by 50%.
100% game speedSets the gold bounties and experience gain to their default values.
150% game speedIncreases the gold bounties and experience gain for each enemy killed by 50%.

LivesLives are calculated based on the amount of players in the game, by default it gives 20 lives per player to each team. If there are 12 players then each team has 240 lives.

Deathmatch onWhen deathmatch is enabled statues will spawn after a set amount of time in front of each teams base. When this statue is destroyed the corresponding team loses a single life.
Deathmatch offDisabled deathmatch mode.

Gem rainDrops 50 gems randomly around the map. When a gem is picked up it increases your exp gain rate by 1%.
RaceThe game assigns an end point at a random spot in the map and asks each player to race to it. The first player that reaches it gains an item that increases their experience gain rate.
Sheep hunterRandomly spawns sheep around the map. Whenever a sheep is killed the enemy team
Bounty huntingA random creep on the map has a bounty placed on its bet, there are no hints and you have 10 minutes, can you find it?
Item rainA torrent of items appears, dropping 40 random items around the entire map.
TreasureA treasure is placed in a random spot on the map, the first player to pick it up wins big!
Switch it upIncreases or decreases the stats of certain creeps. Double/half hit points, double/half damage, double/half armor.
ReplacementsWhen a certain creep dies it will be permanently replaced by another chosen creep, and vice versa.
Double bountiesDoubles the bounties of a number of creeps.
No event (default)No event.

No gods Disables the Gods, players can only use the starter heroes.
Gods (default)Gods can be picked by players once they reach level 24.

No duelsDisables the regularly occuring duels.
Duels (default)Every 5 - 15 minutes a duel will occur between 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 players. The losing team loses 5 lives!

Fog onSpreads fog around the map. Each team by default will only have vision of the arena, they will not be able to know what happens outside of it unless they use wards or other vision abilities.
No fog (default)The entire map is visible for all players at all times.

Gambe/risk offDisables the gamble and risk items and removes them from the shop in each team's base..
Gamble/risk onPlayers can use gamble and/or risk for a chance to get better items.

Abilities

God's CurseCasts a curse onto the targeted area, every few seconds it stuns and damages all units around it.
Collapse of PowerChaos channels its Strength into the aether, dealing damage to all nearby hostile units and healing all nearby allied units.
PrecognitionWhenever Chaos is attacked its precognition gives it a chance to teleport behind the attacking unit and damage it based on its Strength
Dimensional RiftChaos calls upon an other version of itself from a different dimension to support it in battle.

Ares

God of War

Represents physical aggression and an insatiable lust for battle.

Abilities

Ares's MarkAres marks a targeted unit for war. It takes a percentage of his Strength in damage every second for a short period of time. At the end, it'll take a burst of high damage.
Divine StrikeCalls down a fountain of light that damage enemy units near it, every second it grows larger, dealing damage in a bigger area.
Battle ThirstAres pursues the target with an insatiable thirst for blood. Every time the target is damaged by the God of War, Ares regenerates life equal to a percentage of the damage dealt, lasts until Ares is damaged by the target or time runs out.
Golden ShieldAres protects himself with his shield, completely nullifying all damage done by the next few attacks or spells that hit him.

Poseidon

God of the Sea

Protector of seafarers, ruler of the Sea.

Abilities

Aqua BladeHurls a blade of water at the target enemy, piercing all enemies it passes and dealing stat-based damage.
Haunted ChestPlaces a haunted chest at Poseidon's position. When an enemy unit comes close to the chest it will automatically disappear and summon multple ghosts. Each ghost deals damage per second based on Poseidon's Strength.
Fountain of YouthEvery few kills Poseidon permanently gains bonus hit points.
AnchoringPoseidon throws a massive anchor at the targeted locaiton, dealing damage based on his Strength to units it hits. When it touches the ground massive waves of water spawn, dealing the same damage to units in a bigger area.

Zeus

Allfather, chief of the gods. Keeper of oaths.

Abilities

AegisZeus blesses the targeted unit with his Aegis, increasing their physical and magical damage dealt based on his Strength.
Liar's PlightCurses the targeted units. Upon death they explode, dealing damage to nearby enemy units.
AreiusEvery few kills Zeus permanently gains bonus damage.
Olympian StormZeus generates massive tendrils of lightning that slowly hunt down all nearby player heroes, dealing high damage based on his Strength. If the hero can evade the lightning tendril for more than a few seconds it self-destructs.

Abilities

LiquefactionHephaestus throws a sticky heated substance at the targeted unit, dealing damage and lowering its armor by a percentage of his Strength for a short period of time.
Infinite ThunderSends out bolts of lightning towards all nearby enemy units that jump from unit to unit multiple times, damaging them.
My Sunday's BestHephaestus pulls out his laser cannon, and fires it, unleashing it upon the enemy, dealing damage per second to any hostile unit caught within the laser.
Level 100 SmithingHephaestus's smithing powers let him improve upon some of the items he uses.

Personification of terror, son of Ares and Aphrodite. A representation of the terror brought upon humans by war.

Abilities

TerrifyDeimos curses the targeted unit, dealing damage and terrifying it for a short period of time, reducing its movement and attack speed.
War StompSlams the ground with such power it deforms, damaging and pulling nearby enemy land units towards Deimos.
HexTransforms an enemy unit into a random critter for a short time.
Hyper LightningEverytime Deimos attacks a unit during battle he has a chance to create lightning that leaps from the target to nearby enemy units damaging them.

Abilities

Earthquakehe Cyclop slams the ground with its club causing a massive fissure that travels towards enemies in the targeted direction dealing damage.
BrothersPholyphemus summons multiple cyclops brothers to help him fight his enemies.
PulverizePolyphemus has a chance to do bonus damage based on his Strength in an area upon attacking a unit.
ReincarnationWhen killed, the Cyclops will come back to life after a few seconds.

A king. Judges the souls of those who perish and sends them to either Elysium (heaven), Tartarus (hell), or the Asphodel Meadows (purgatory).

Abilities

PsyqueThe Judge uses his psi abilities to sift through the mind of the targeted unit, dealing damage and knocking it in random directions.
GravitonThe Judge launches a massive ball of stone into the air at the targeted area, when it reaches the end it explodes dealing damage to all nearby enemy units.
IncinerateEach attack made is enhanced with living flames that cling to the target. If a unit dies while under this effect, it is incinerated, causing significant damage to all nearby hostile units.
Black WallThe Judge rips out the souls of the denizens of the underworld and forces them onto earth to create a wall of souls that damage all hostile units that come near it.

Apollo

Protector of the young. The most beautiful of all gods. Father of Asclepius. Prophetic deity of the Delphic Oracle.


Abilities

Searing CadenzaApollo plays a series of notes on his lyre that are so lit they silence the target, dealing Strength based damage over time.
MeteorApollo creates a massive meteorite and throws it in the targeted direction, knocking away units and dealing damage to them.
Solar FlareApollo burns with the power of the sun, sending out flares every 2 seconds that deal damage and stun nearby hostile units.
Calamitous PrognosticationApollo marks an area on the ground for destruction. Every few seconds, a pillar of flame will engulf the area, dealing massive Strength based damage.

Gaea

Symbols: Earth, fruit

Personification of Earth. Mother of all life.

Abilities

Skipping StoneGaea lobs a boulder at the target location which bounces multiple times. Each impact deals Strength based damage, after every bounce the damage will decrease.
Crushing BoulderGaea summons floating rocks above all nearby hostile units. Enemies who move while the rocks are active cause them to fall, dealing damage based on her Strength and stunning them.
Quaking StrideAfter moving a certain distance Gaea's stride causes the ground to quake under her feet, dealing damage based on her Strength.
Burden of the WorldOver the next few seconds Gaea slowly encases herself in stone. Gaining bonus armour and magic reduction and reducing her move speed every second for a short period of time. Once she's fully petrified, it will take a few seconds to unpetrify, after this period or if she takes more than 50% of her max hit points in damage, the stone encasing shatters, dealing high damage based on her Strength.

Aphrodite

Inspiration of humanity's desire, and spiritual love.

Abilities

Burning DesireLaunches beams into the direction Aphrodite is facing, dealing damage to the first enemy they hit based on her Agility.
Seductive BetrayalAphrodite charms the targeted unit, making it incapable of dealing damage to her for a short period of time
Aphrodite's AffectionAphrodite showers the targeted area with love and affection, giving allies increased hit point regeneration for a short period of time
Pulsating PassionEntraps all enemy units in the targeted area, reducing their attack speed and armor.

Patroness and protectress of married women, marital unions and presides over weddings.

Abilities

Ancient StormHera uses her anger to summon a giant storm that damages based on her Agility and slows units caught within it.
Mythical SummonHera summons a Centaur, a Murloc and a Harpy to aid her in battle.
Eternal UnionHera binds herself and the targeted unit together. All magical damage taken by Hera is reduced by 50% and shared with the bound units. Can be used on both allies and enemies.
Devotion AuraHera's nearby devoted followers gain bonus armor while the the nearby heathens have reduced armor. The potency of the effect increases the more allied or enemy units are nearby.

Boreas

God of the North Wind, bringer of Winter

Brings the cold northern wind, and creates the winter.

Abilities

CycloneTosses a target enemy unit into the air, rendering it unable to move, attack or cast spells, stopping others from attacking or casting on it and deals damage per second to it.
WinterfrostWherever he goes Boreas brings with him winter. While active, shards of ice will fall from the sky around Boreas every few seconds, dealing damage to nearby enemy units based on his Agility.
North WindBoreas controls the North Wind, slowing the movement speed of all nearby enemy units.
Winter SolsticeWith the coming of winter Boreas his powers increase, Cyclone lasts longer, Winterfrost has a bigger area of effect, and units under the effect of North Wind attack slower.

Nemesis

Goddess of Retribution, revenge, and hubris

Symbols: Sword, dagger, scales, goose

Enacts retribution, against those who succumb to hubris. Known for being remorseless.

Abilities

EradicateNemesis fires a beam into the direction she's facing, dealing damage to enemies pierced by it based on a percentage of her Agility.
Relentless PursuitNemesis dashes to the target location, slicing through hostile units in her path, dealing damage to them based on her Agility.
This ability can be recast within a few seconds to dash back to her original location, dealing the same damage again.
Ethereal AbsorptionWhenever Nemesis is physically attacked the arcane powers inside her body have a chance to absorb the attack and deal the damage to nearby enemy units instead over time.
Bonds of HubrisNemesis chains all nearby hostile units to her for a short period of time. If they get too far away from her they will be pulled back towards her, take damage based on her Agility and are stunned.

Hermes

God of the Thieves, trade, travelers, and guide to the Underworld

Messenger of the gods, divine trickster, and bringer of good luck.

Abilities

Caduceus CharmHermes uses Caduceus to charm the units within the targeted area, dealing damage based on his Agility and lulling them into a short uninterruptable sleep.
Hermes's BootsWhen inactive this skill grants a passive evasion bonus, when active it grants increased movement speed instead.
Bounty BanditTerrorizes nearby enemies, whenever a hostile unit is killed by an enemy there is a chance that Hermes steals the bounty.
Divine HeraldHermes channels and prepares for a few seconds, after which he will teleport to the targeted area dealing damage based on his Agility.

Hestia

Goddess of the Hearth, Home, and Family
Abode
: Delphi or Mount Olympus
Symbols: the hearth, fire

Personifies the fire burning in the hearth of every home. Kind and forgiving.

Abilities

Sacred FireHestia lets loose fire into random nearby units, dealing damage based on her Agility.
Sacrificial LifeWhen Sacrifical Life is cast, all nearby units are inflicted with a status that causes them to release a burst of fire upon death, dealing damage to nearby enemies equal to a percentage of Hestia's Agility.
Magical UnityIncreases the magic damage dealt by nearby allies.
HearthHestia summons the sacred fire of Vesta. The fire is stationary, can't attack and has a percentage of Hestia's total hit points and armor. When Hestia casts one of her skills the fire will cast the same spell. The sacred fire replicates to a random nearby spot every few seconds.

Dionysus

God of Madness, wine-making, rituals, and religious ecstasy

Symbols: Thyrsus, grapevine, bull, panthers

Born of Zeus his thigh. An outsider, the liberator. His wine, music and dance frees his followers from self-consciousness and the restraints of society.

Abilities

Curse of MadnessDionysus throws a vial filled with a maddening mixture, dealing Agility damage in an area. In addition, hostile units are cursed, giving them a chance to completely miss an attack and have double the damage returned.
Summon ProcessionSummons Satyrs to fight Dionysus his enemies. Each level gives them extra damage, hp and abilities.
AmbrosiaDionysus creates a potion that when used instantly heals by a percentage of your max hp. If the potion would heal you to more than your maximum hit points it will instead temporarily give you bonus hit points.
BakkheiaDionysus temporarily starts transmitting an aura to nearby units, increasing the effects of his other abilities on them.

Artemis

Goddess of the Hunt, Forests, Moon, Archery, and Hills

Protector of young girls. One of the primary goddesses of childbirth.

Abilities

GameTransforms an enemy unit into game for a short time. Artemis deals bonus attack and spell damage to units under the effects of Game.
Arrow NovaArtemis shoots out 18 arrows in a circle around her, each arrow pierces enemies it hits dealing damage based on her Agility.
Reflex ShotWhenever Artemis is attacked she has a chance to automatically cast Arrow Nova without cost.
The Hunt Is OnArtemis fires an enchanted arrow which detonates upon striking an enemy hero. It deals Agility based damage and stuns based on how far it travels.

Chronos

Primordial God of Time
Abode
: Tartarus, Elysium
Symbols: Sickle

Formed the ordered universe of earth, sea, and sky with Ananke, the goddess of Inevitability.

Abilities

Time DilationChronos stops time for the targeted unit, rendering it unable to move, attack or cast spells. For the duration of the spell the target does not take damage, instead when the spell ends all the damage dealt to it will be taken at once.
AtrophyThe passing of time wastes away living beings. Enemies under the affects of this take damage based on Chronos his Agility every second.
RewindChronos rewinds time, resetting his hit points, mana, and position by a few seconds. If used during a duel it does not reset position.
Soul SeverChronos severs the target from this timeline, reducing their stats and dealing a percentage of his Agility in damage per second.
If Chronos kills an enemy hero while they're affected by this ability, they temporarily lose a percentage of their stats, and he permanently gains a bonus to his stats equal to a smaller percentage of their total stats.
The next time he dies, all enemy heroes who lost stats from this ability gain them back.

Dolos

God of Trickery, cunning, and treachery
Abode

Apprentice to Titan Prometheus, companion of Pseudologi.

Abilities

Trick RoomDolos curses the enemies within the target area. Dealing damage without them noticing, tricking them into thinking they have more hit points than they actually do. Units affected by this skill will die when their hit points reach a certain amount above 0. Stacks with itself.
Confounding ImageDolos turns invisible and creates a copy of himself in his location. After a short period of time or upon death, the copy explodes, dealing damage based on his Agility to nearby hostile units.
Esoteric AssaultThe God of Trickery's skill at stealth increases his attack damage when he is unnoticed. If he hasn't been damaged or hurt for a short period of time his attack damage increases by a percentage, and deals magic damage instead of physical damage.
Temporal SculptureDolos sculpts a statue of the target hero so realistic it becomes life like. The sculpture has the same stats and items as the target hero, and has all their abilities. Due to the intense concentration required to control the statue, Dolos can't use his own abilities while the skill is active and his movement speed is halved.

Nike

Goddess of victory, glory, and fame

Divine charioteer, rewarding victors on battlefields with wreaths of laurel leaves.


Abilities

Flight of the BraveNike flies so fast it looks like clones of her appear, dealing damage based on her Agility to all enemies in the targeted area and slowing their move speed.
Laurel of VictoryNike temporarily gains bonus movement and attack speed for every unit she defeats. While this skill is active it drains mana every second.
Battlefield GloryThe longer Nike attacks the same enemy unit the more damage she does to it. Increases damage dealt per attack. Resets after a short period of time without attacks.
Path to VictoryNike marks the target enemy unit, while under the effects of this skill all physical damage dealt by Nike to the target deals bonus damage based on a percentage of its maximum hit points.

Uranus

Primordial god of the Skies and Heavens

Symbols: Zodiac wheel

Father of the Titants. Temporary ruler of the universe. Ancestor of almost all Greek gods.

Abilities

Tartarus's ImprisonmentImprisons the target enemy unit in Tartarus, making it unable to move or deal damage for a short period of time.
Air BreakerDisplaces the air around the targeted units' heads, dealing Agility based damage to them.
Gaseous FormUranus turns into a cloud, giving him maximum movement speed and letting him move through walls and other obstacles, while in his gaseous form he can only take magic damage and can't deal physical damage.
VacuumUranus channels his mighty powers, slowly draining the target area of air, dealing damage per second to all units within it based on his Agility. Damage increases the longer the affected enemies stay within the area.

Chiron

Teacher of Gods and Heroes
Abode: Mount Pelion & Mount Olympus

Gave up immortality in exchange for Prometheus's freedom. Ascended to Mount Olympus upon death.

Abilities

Knowledge TetherChiron shares his knowledge with the target through a tether. Increasing Chiron's Intelligence by the Intelligence the target has and vice versa. If the target moves too far away the tether breaks
Spectral SphereGenerates an arcane sphere at the target location that attacks two random nearby enemy units every second and pulls them towards the sphere, dealing damage based on Chiron's Intelligence.
Ethereal AbsorptionChiron withdraws his bow and shoots a slow-moving magical arrow which does minor Intelligence based damage to enemies it passes through. At any point during the arrow's flight, Chiron can detonate it and deal extra damage in an area.

RejuvenationHeals a targeted unit's hit points and mana every second based on the intelligence of Demeter.
Snap TrapDemeter plants a Snap Trap. When an enemy unit comes near it, the plant traps it, dealing damage based on her Intelligence and immobilising the unit for a short time.
SproutAdds the seeds of a rare plant into Demeter's attacks, whenever a unit dies from her physical attacks that seed has a chance to sprout into a root that damages nearby enemy units based on Demeter her Intelligence every second for a short period of time.
Razor ThornsDemeter sends out a massive spray of thorns towards nearby enemy units, dealing damage based on her Intelligence. When the thorns hit a unit it sends out another spray of thorns towards units nearby.

Taught humankind about medicine, rejuvenation and surgery.

Abilities

Holy BoltA holy bolt that is thrown at an enemy unit, causing damage based on Asclepius's Intelligence and stunning the target.
Wound ReflectionDamage all nearby hostile units and heal all nearby allied units. The amount of damage or healing depends on both Asclepius' intelligence and the current hit points of affected units. Lower health units are affected more.
Adrenaline SpikeAsclepius' knowledge of medicine and healing has enabled him to seemingly temporarily resurrect units.
Rod of AsclepiusAsclepius uses his staff to create a barrier of healing magic in an area. Allies inside the barrier gain bonus armor and heal based on Asclepius his Intelligence every second.

Parliamentary MobbingAthena summons a parliament of owls to attack nearby enemy units, each owl does damage equal to a percentage of her Intelligence.
Battle of WitsAthena damages the target hero by an amount equal to a percentage of the difference between both of their Intelligence.
Elite PerceptionAthena is a skilled learner, she can temporarily gain 0% bonus Intelligence based on the target's Intelligence.
Stable MindAthena clears her head, and compartmentalises her thoughts, resetting the cooldown of her other spells and putting the remaining time into the cooldown of this spell.

DoormakerHecate creates a portal at the targeted location, every unit that walks into it will take damage based on her Intelligence and will be teleported to Hecate.
Bluefire TorchHecate throws a torch into the center of the targeted area. it deals a percentage of her Intelligence in damage to nearby hostile units every second and reveals invisible units.
Soul AbsorptionEvery time Hecate kills an enemy player hero her stats increase by a percentage of their stats.
Triple FormHecate turns into her triple form. Splitting into three identical copies of herself, that can each cast her abilities.

Frost VortexThanatos creates a giant vortex of ice that damages nearby hostile units every second for a short period of time. Units in the vortex also have 0% chance to freeze for a second every time they are damaged by it.
Void BallShoots out a gravitational ball made out of the void, knocking away units and dealing damage to them.
BraindrainThe God of Death passively drains the brains of killed enemies. Increasing it's Intelligence every few kills and regenerating its mana every second.
Frozen VoidThanatos creates a giant mountain of ice that damages, freezes and slows nearby enemy units.

Mother of the viper Echidna, the crab Skylla, the hundred-headed serpent Ladon, the one-eyed Graiai, and the Gorgons.

Abilities

Stone GazeCeto mimicks one of her Gorgon daughters, petrifying the target, reducing its movespeed and reducing all physical damage dealt by it.
Graiai's LamentCeto calls upon the power of her Graiai's to damage the enemies in the target area, dealing damage based on her Intelligence.
Bottom-DwellerPermanently summons Skylla to Ceto's side, a sea monster that can attack nearby enemy units. Skylla can only be hurt by magic.
Summon EchidnaSummons Echidna, the serpent monster. Echidna deals damage based on Ceto's Intelligence and can attack multiple enemies at once. Echidna has 1 hit point, and can only die if Ceto dies first. 50% of all damage taken by Echidna is transferred to Ceto

Emerges from the east at dawn, driving a chariot drawn by winged horses, bringing forth the sun.

Abilities

Golden ChariotHelios brings down the sun, when it lands it deals damage in an area based on his Intelligence.
SunburnGives the target enemies a sunburn, making them unable to cast spells.
Far SightGives Helios sight of all nearby invisible enemies. Also increases the damage of his abilities and attacks the further away the target is.
Miniature SunHelios generates a small miniature sun that damages enemy units based on his Intelligence. The miniature sun grows bigger the longer he remains channeling, increasing its area of effect.

Selene

Goddess of the Moon, guardian of oaths, and the god of sight

Symbols: Crescent, bull's horns

A women riding sidesaddle on a horse, with a crescent crown on her head.

Abilities

Shroud of DarknessCovers the area around Selene in darkness, turning her invisible and increasing her magical damage by a percentage of her Intelligence while she's covered.
IlluminationReflects moonlight onto nearby enemy units, blinding them and giving them a chance to miss attacks for a short period of time. If the enemies are within Selene's shroud of darkness they're also damaged for a percentage of her Intelligence.
Endymion's GazeWhenever Selene physically attacks an enemy she has a chance to generate a shroud of darkness at the same level as this ability.
If she attacks an enemy under the effects of the shroud she does increased damage.
Lunar OrbAn orb of lunar energies launches into the targeted enemies, damaging them and any other hostile it collides with. If Shroud of Darkness is available the orb leaves behind a trail of clouds in its path.

Guardian of the golden apples

Abilities

Drench In VenomLadon spits out a slow-moving orb of toxic venom that detonates in a large area, dealing damage based on his Intelligence. While in the Garden of the Hesperides, the venom lingers for a couple seconds, dealing extra damage.
ConstrictorLadon constricts the target area after a second of channeling, silencing and dealing intelligence based damage to all enemies inside. While in Garden of the Hesperides, all enemies inside are stunned instead
Golden AppleLadon flings an enchanted apple at the target which bounces to nearby enemies, dealing intelligence based damage and giving them a debuff that causes them to give additional gold when killed. While in Garden of the Hesperides, this ability bounces to twice as many targets.
Garden of HesperidesPlants a golden tree at the target location, enhancing Ladon's abilities and granting him spell armor while he's nearby. It can be killed, but only by heroes.

Bug fixes


-Each point in intelligence now reduces the cooldown of your spells by 0.003% with a maximum reduction of 30% at 10.000 intelligence.
-Agility now increases your attack speed by 0.5% per point instead of 1%.
-When the game starts you’re now teleported to your base instead of the center of the map
-Runes no longer have instant effects, instead they turn into wards that affect the area around them over a period of time
-Some runes are changed as a result, see item changes for more info

-The “-lord” command has been removed, it can now be accessed by walking into its area next to the church at demon city. You need to be lvl 50 to access it.
-Lord Chaos now has an updated inventory and a rudimentary AI that will make it cast spells on you. When it is defeated it has a chance to drop the Soul Armor item: see new items for more info.

-All items in your item stock are now displayed as buttons on your screen at all times, they’re located in the bottom right. This can be disabled using the new settings option in your item stock.
The buttons from item stock items can be used to activate potions without having to select your item stock.
-There’s several shortcuts for the item stock items that allows you to quickly move items between your hero and the item stock. Hold tab and hover over the buttons to see all available shortcuts.

-Shadow now has double your stats instead of triple. It also copies your stats and items in real-time during the duel, so using -bt commands while fighting it might be a bad idea.
-The creep areas in the center of the arena now spawn only 5 units instead of 10.
-Boots of Speed lvl 4 & 5 boost ability is now targeted; you can select the direction you want to go in. It now also makes you invulnerable to pushing/pulling abilities for longer than in 2.1.0.
-Statues are now magic immune again until we remove death-match in one of the future versions

-Custom loading screen and minimap preview!

-Pack Horse is now connected to the shared inventory of the hero and item stock, meaning it is used for recipes.
-Pack Horse can now send items to both your hero and your item stock.
-Summons now have icons displaying their special abilities such as if they do stat based damage or have multishot, etc.
-You can now buy tomes from the tome shop in the base with your item stock
-Risk now shows you the dice roll made by the game when you buy it. This should assure everyone that it is working, it’s just not fair, haha.
-Increased the radius of shops so they can be used from further away
-Clarified a few tooltips so that they’re easier to understand

-the “-info” command now also displays the current cooldown reduction and the current bonus gained from attribute bonus
-There is now an “-ab” command that turns on a timer that automatically spends all your resources on the specified stat: so for example if you type “-ab t” it will spend all your resources on all stats every 10 seconds.
-The Item Stock now has a “settings” option where you can unstuck your hero, switch to the other team, force a revival and see a list of all available commands.
-The Force revive command is now expanded and should work in most cases

-Revamped each team's base, it is now slightly bigger.
-Revamped the secret shop

-The gates to Helios and Selene now open after 5 minutes instead of 12.
-Events in event mode now lasts 5 minutes instead of 10.
-Removed the music/sounds from duels (and everywhere else in the map)

-Attempted to fix barrels teleporting to mid when switching again (don’t hold your hopes up though)
-Fixed an issue where the magic damage reduction wasn't working correctly occasionally
-Fixed an issue where the game would give you infinite resources
-Fixed an issue where players that left would still get gold from helios/selene kills
-Fixed an issue where some items would start dropping on death after duels.
-Fixed an issue where Shadow could leave its arena.
-Fixed an issue where your hero would be teleported out of shadows arena while using certain abilities

New Items

Item changes


-Power Scepter: can be obtained at the secret shop. It increases the level of your ultimate ability by one when carried. Can only be used by starter heroes.
-Corrupted Scepter: Can be obtained by upgrading a Power Scepter with a level 2 Orb of Corruption, it increases the level of your ultimate by one when carried. It can be used by both gods and starter heroes.
-Soul Armor: Lord Chaos has a chance to drop this item. When carried, every time you take magic damage you become immune to magic for 0.50 seconds. It also stops a killing blow once every 60 seconds after which it’ll make you invulnerable to dying for 5 second.

-Changed the way Cleave combines with spells that increase the net damage instead of a percentage (for example ancient guardians E)
-Removed the level 1 stealth blade recipe
-Rune of Healing/Mana/Restoration: now heals 10%of your hp/mana per second.
-Rune of Shielding: Reduces all magic damage taken by friendly units by 50%.
-Rune of Dispel Magic: Silences nearby creeps
-Phantom Contraction works better now
-Invisibility Potion now works instantly and can be used from your item stock
-Anti Magic Potion can now be used from your item stock
-Steel Skin now reduces damage by 800 (instead of 700) but can’t reduce damage lower than 400.
-Doom no longer permanently displays a buff when used

Are there any meaningful differences between this one and the other multitude of Angel Arena versions?

This version mainly started out as an attempt to balance the original Angel Arena Allstars by youkaiz, but over the past 2 years we've added in a lot more features as well such as more unique heroes and abilities. In the old version most of the heroes use default warcraft 3 spells or have duplicate abilities, in this version we've added in tons more unique spells (for examples check the gods section in the description) and we're still updating it with more, there are over a 100 heroes to go through so it's still an on-going process.

There's a lot of quality of life changes compared to the old version as well and we've also added more pvp mechanics such as a bounty system, 2v2,up to 6v6 duels and refined the map in general, no anime heroes, less imported models, Hundreds of fixed bugs, new items, etc.

I have permission from Ralle to post the map. We've tried to contact the original author multiple times in the past three years and he's never responded, so we haven't gained his approval.

This map seems interesting. Unfortunately I cant play it because I dont have Reforged.
I'm not entirely sure how the Reforged/classic separation works, but I thought that if you own wc3 you can still play on the latest patch, just not with the reforged graphics, or is that incorrect? The map requires the latest patch but can be played with classic graphics.
