so for this model, i have to import a forest troll skin. so how do i do that if the skin is already in the game?

If the skin is already in-game, then you don't need to. You should be able to import the model and be done. Just tp be sure though, please link to the model so I can be positive.

For that particular model you only need import the model(s) you wish to use and the texture file textures\ridingtroll.blp

Be sure to set that custom path for the skin: the other texture files listed on the page are not necessary as they are already included in war3x.mpq.
