Bash's buff

i wanted to create a passive ability which would instantly kill a non-hero ground unit; so my first thought was, of course, altering bash with like 90 k bonus dam or whatever. now, the prob is the 'buff' bash crates, the blue spinning spiral overhead that i wanted to replace with the undeaddissipate effect. but since the unit dies instantly, there seems to be no time to display the effect.
(if i add like 15 bonus dam and duration ~ 3 sec, everything works perfectly :( )
suggestions?

Does the animation that you want to replace the stun buff with have the birth/stand/death animations? If so, the birth animation is played first, but since the unit dies instantly, it doesn't have time to display the others. Try triggering the kill, use waits. You might also be able to add a delay into the ability itself - I'm not sure how Bash works.

undeaddisspate takes about 2 secs to be displayed properly (dying lich). with bash, the unit would need to stay alive for these 2 secs. but i want the animation to be displayed while the units's death animation is played. and that doesnt work :(

how would i specify that unit`s position?
i already tried several triggers, but none of them works.
here they are: (shortened to the relevant facts)
1. -unit starts casting ability (death blow)
-create special effect at target of ability
(doesnt work cause bash isn't a 'spell',i think)
2. -unit dies
-unit has buff (death blow)
-create s.e. at pos of triggering unit
(wont work cause dead units cant have buffs
on them)
im now thinking of something like a 'unit is killed by ability'-trigger, but i didnt find that one, yet. and i doubt i ll ever find it cause there is no such trigger? :(

well you can change the duration of the death animations in the gameplay interface or gamplay constants (not sure what section it is in, but it is in one.)
