Hi! I'm using Gmax 1.2 and I have a few questions about these "atachment points" and "particle emitters". What's the difference between both of them and what are they useful for?
Well, I'm not using GMax but I think I could explain it too.
Particle emitters emits effects like bubbles, stars etc.
Attachment points are use to attach stuff to the model using some WE tricks.
Well first welcome to the hive... secondly no idea how to add attachment points to the bones (if it is what you do) but yes what you attach to the attachment points (head, chest, origin so on) will stay there on the model also when he moves, attacks or something.. same with particle emitters
Ok! Now the only question is how can i attach "attachment points" and "particle emitters" to the meshes(head, hands, legs and etc.)? That would be great is someone will answer on this question.
I already know how to attach meshes to the bones for the record.
Well Magos is free and easy to use, and actualy a must have... So it better get it, then you would also find tutorials in how to add emitters....you can even animate a little in it and change bones, textures and so...
Ye ok! Actually Mechanical Man is right. But then again, how do i add all these points and emitters in Magos Model Editor? Is there any tutorials, you could give a link to?
