You guys are so sad, seriously.

Quit bashing Wc3c, and don't bash this contest, it showed a lot of good quality pieces, and the nudity wasn't pornographic or tasteless, just for fun.

And because I have been at that site for a year means I know that it actually is a good site, and not as retarded as most of the Hive users make it out to be, just because of one bad experience with a moderator, or something someone else said about the site.

I personally was told off about 2 or 3 times when I was starting out because of asking dumb questions or not searching around, but I just learned from my mistakes and kept at it. If you act respectfully and intellectually, there shouldn't be a problem.

And I'm defending the contest, because though it was based upon nudity as one of the criteria, it was still done tastefully and produced great quality works.

Did you even see the winning piece? How can you saw that isn't amazing quality?

Chances are, most of the people complaining here are just being little over reactive children about it, because that is a normal response to something with a PENIS in it (OMG!)

Bottom line, many people need to grow up.

And since when did I say that my reaction was "EWEWEWEWEWEW PENIS!!!!1111" ? I know that the art is supposedly artistic (I have yet to see it.), much like what the greeks did with their art. (Or was it the Romans?) However, it just doesn't tickle my fancy and I find no trouble in poking a little fun at it. Much like when people make fun of religion (I'm a Christian and even I laugh when someone takes a crack at Christianity.)

I wasnt anything like that. I just think that having a concept art contest having you draw a naked troll is pretty nasty, and I'm willing to bet 100% (not counting Wulfy :smile:) of you guys think the exact same way. And the fact that there are infact minors on that site. Okay, so it's not porn. It still has nudity in it, and if one of the minors are looking at that thread out of curiosity and they're mom walks in or some sh*t like that than it's pretty much obvious what will happen (unless they're parents are cool with porn, which I doubt most parents are). This is supposed to be a fun Warcraft site, not some f*cking beastiality place.

And WILLTHEALLMIGHTY, I have never, ever heard of "art" that had a nude troll on it. I have seen art with women with an exposed breast, or something like that - and I've seen the Statue of David (lol), but a troll is taking this to a new level, dude.

First off, bestiality is sexual activity between a human and an animal, not a naked troll.

And when you sign up, you are supposed to have read the rules, meaning you are aware this is an adult board, that does allow artistic nudity. This means said children shouldn't have even registered in the first place.

Well I agree here. Artistic nudity is a major part of society around the world, and there's nothing wrong with it. Artists draw science fiction characters and humanoid creatures of their own creation in the nude all the time. Now, wc3c decided to hold a contest featuring a troll.

If someone's parents walked in on a minor looking at that stuff, unless they were idiotic retards or horribly over-protective, would realize that the nudity is in no way pornographic, and held no sexual conotation at all, other then the fact that it is a wang.

Honestly, there is a picture of a naked woman in my house. And you know what? It's beautiful. It's masterfully painted, and it's a great addition to our dining room. So it has some boobs in it? What's the point?

I think that most of you just need to grow up a bit and take this a little more seriously. If you aren't mature enough to deal with artistic nudity, then you obviously have a long bloody way to go.

However, the topic name is misleading: the site's search engine (and we users) rely on thread titles to find and reference subjects.
