Architecture contest
ContentsTheme
Each contestant must create a part of cityscape using the ultimate terraining map. The part should contain at least 3 buildings and an unlimited number of additional areas. Filling the whole map is not an imperative.
Rules
- - At least 3 buildings must be assembled
- - Only ultimate terraining map can be used
- - Custom imports may be allowed but they must first be made available for all contestants
- - Your final submission must contain an image of your cityscape from bird's perspective and a physically attached map
- - This is not an artistic terrain so both visible and invisible walls, windows, anything must be placed in the map
Criteria | Description | Marks |
Overall impression | The overall look of your cityscape | /5 |
Functionality | Well, people do not feel like walking around an entire block just to reach their first neighbour | /5 |
Realism | This refers to warcraft 3 realism. Copying the architecture of any warcraft race is allowed yet buildings must be assembled logically | /5 |
Precision | As you all know, precision is of great importance in architecture, your buildings should stand up straight | /5 |
Skill | Complexity of your buildings is important as it represents your skills as an architect | /10 |
Design | The choice of materials and their assembly, a very important criterion | /10 |
Deadline
The deadline for the contest will be (determined later, probably 14 days). All entries must be submitted before or on that date.
Prizes
Bellow is a list of all the prizes that will be awarded for this contest.
1st. 40 reputation points, and an award icon.
2nd. 20 reputation points.
3rd. 10 reputation points.
