A magical gunship.

Yeah, the upper part is still flat, but i could't find a way to make it rounder without remove the weapons. The front of the baloon, and a bit of the top were worked to made it look a bit round. And the boat is bigger compared to the first version.

In my album there is a recount of the model progress.

This model have Attack, Spell, and Portrait animations.

Thanks, to Hayate, Edge45, Kyrbio, and Mechanical man for the input about the final appearance of the mesh.

Update 21/10/2015

Added all attachment points in a mechanical model.
Changed Attack-1 Sound to the phoenix attack sound.
Changed Death sound to City building sound.
Changed Death effects to be more "magical".
Changed Lower gun and effects position to the center of the model.

Reworked the wrap and the mesh to make the skin look less streched. Hope this looks more round ingame :)

my view:

pros: neat texture choices for the gold/bronze, I like the idea, and theme. crystals being the reason it floats is pretty cool, the idea of magic blimp has been attempted before on other websites, but no hive examples come to my mind right away, not any ''arcane'' themed. its an original idea. crystals look cool. so do the emitters.

cons: the under side cannon cannot be seen properly, perhaps placing it farther forward in the front could help.

the blimps body doesn't seem very round or smooth, perhaps at least adding polys at key areas like the rear engine hole or closer to the front of the cone tip, to make it appear more smooth and less blocky (personal taste).

the under side carriage has nice looking yellow window circle areas, why do these not continue around the sides of the blimp? perhaps eliminating that door/sleigh skiis and focus on adding polys for the cabin to look nicer,

perhaps you could maybe even add more floors so the under carriage looks more significant, or more boat like.

I feel like its got nice gold textures, and bad wood textures, find more examples of wood in the mpq, the races all have different woods, if you are aiming for arcane here, perhaps paying the arcane observatory a visit is in order.

over all based on its shape and animation count it seems like its capable of being considered a complete unit, how ever I personally feel its very un-polished looking, and would say keep working on it. 6.5-7/10

Impressive, I like those crystal engines, they seem, unique.
I still say you need more work on the blimb body, since its textures look, stretched,
and the wood section, I suggest lowering it a little, and the under cannon, needs a better place to be seen clearly, since in-game view, it cannot be seen much.
These are my suggestions, take it or not, your choice.
My ratings would be 4/5, since the mesh is good enough, texture wrapping needs some work and animation are smooth enough for me. Good Work :)

Cool model but I recommend to make the floating crystals bigger (similar to Helicarrier) since it makes the airship float. The spikes in the front of the envelope doesn't look arcane-y. The explosions in tha attack animation could be replaced by energy particles to make it arcane-y. The gondola's ski could be removed and just an additional deck will make it look better.
