Oh wow, how did you get it to work in 1995? I can only boot it up on the Amiga

Sadly there is no 64-bit version of the World Editor, only 32-bit.
To run it without compatibility mode you have remove half of you CPU. But be very careful when cutting, as you want to get 32-32-bit and not 31-33-bit or something odd which will not work.

To merge back to 64-bit use some WD-40 and Gaffer tape.

You could wait a few months and migrate to StarCraft II 3.0. It could offer you a 64 bit editor based on Blizzard's current migration to 64 bit support. Unfortunately I am unsure and can only confirm that it will offer you a 64 bit game executable (like Heroes of the Storm does) but since that has no editor only time will tell.

i have no issues running it without compatibility mode. you could ask the developers of the third party editor though if they would change it to 64 bit. one thing you could try is to do a reboot as some times the editor will not run after the pc have been active for a while.

that depends :D

but no, I doubt you can change the world editor, since we do not have the source code. If we had source code, it would be matter of 2 clicks pretty much, but without source code, all we have are dreams and hopes
