Anyone know how to make a one time use ability?

Why not simply removing the ability from the unit that cast it and from the shop / whatever you use for the player to get the ability available ?

If the ability is given to multiple units, simply remove the ability from all units of the player owning the casting unit once it is used once.

Plenty of ways to go about that!
  • The simplest one might be to just disable the abillity (or remove from the unit) once it is used (with triggers).
  • If you were looking to have a visual indicator of only 1 charge, then maybe you can use the Huntress's Sentinel ability?
  • In addition to (or instead of) that, you can also add a dummy unit called "You have already used this ability" as a requirement to the ability. Place it somewhere in the map and remove it once the ability has been used. This makes the icon appear disabled, with indication why you can't use the ability anymore.

How can I do the trigger part then, I kinda new to this community and trigger things...
