[AI] AI Development for Custom Heroes

I want to make two custom aggro heroes (already made, actually) that would run around and attack player's heroes, units, and buildings. They need to be able to respawn and level with the game (I can do the leveling bit). I'd prefer them to have selectable difficulties, but definatly an on/off vote. But my problem is that I don't know how to work AI, so should I just find someone to do it for me? Or can anyone give me tips to get started in the right direction?
