After the obliteration of Quel'Thalas, the human kingdom of Agerron,
that repeatedly battled with orcs in the past,
faces an enemy that even the brute force of Orcs cannot equal.
With orcs on the run and the enemy at their gates, the kingdom's military forces will have to act quick.

Yes, you are right. :) I've added the download link to the campaign info now and the people who are interested may easily download.
Well, actually what I meant was to make it approve-able for the map section, so it will have more visibility. Most people are too lazy to read map descriptions, so they might miss your second campaign.

I realize it is not as simple as it sounds, since I remember there were issues with people saying it was too similar to Malfurion's Quest. I cannot comment on that, since I never played the sentinel version of Mal Q, but I think it would be a shame if you did not publish your FoA campaign on hive, as I am guessing you used a lot of time to make it.

That is so true... Yes I did spend A LOT of time on it and it is a shame that certain individuals won't let it stay here and entertain people. (I may upload it later) By the way wanna see why I was so much time inactive with WcIII and Hive aswell? ~kinda tragic story~

  • A Microsoft problem deleted all the stuff I was making, absolutely nothing remained... I was devastated, all my inspiration and muse for making them perished. Then early in this year I thought of starting it again, and make it like before or better...
Then....

Warcraft - ''RE(funded)FORGED'' came in, taking a lot lot of space on my computer, won't let me go classic or play the game for free ( I needed to pay) for it, and it was terrible game ''update'' aswell. I didn't want to pay or anything, couldn't play it and deleted it.
And now months later...

My muse is coming back to start updating and making again... I have to find and download Warcraft III classic if I find (version 1.30 or so), without refunded.. I am also making loading screens for Agerron in the moment. ;) So I guess by this long story, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, even if the light is a coming train at you. :)

All patches can be found on hiveworkshop. The most stable for campaigns is probably 1.30.4. The only issue with 1.30.4 is some custom music is muted/won't work, but that bug was fixed in 1.32+ I think.

Really hope you continue to do your updates for previous 2 campaigns/High Elf Survival campaign. The terrain in your campaigns is one o the highest quality of all hiveworkshop, and the scenery makes the cinematics very enjoyable to watch.

My muse is coming back to start updating and making again

i will play this campaign soon again because its a really good campaign but i want to ask you about the fate of ashenvale i download it and add it my custom campaign files an when i enter to my custom campaigns library in the game i don t find it

Great to see this campaign updated! Will definitely play it when I have the opportunity. Just curious: If future Wc3 patches update the editor so terrain tiles can be changed via trigger, will you just make the "Christmas edition" basically a mode that can be turned on/off inside each map? It seems most people might not notice the link on the map description, and it might be easier if there was only 1 single campaign file.

Also hope to hear more news about the High elf prologue campaign.

Anyway, thanks for the effort you put into this, Svetli. Also, I liked the guitar video you posted on your youtube account.

I get the Black screen when I go in the first chapter. I know it's about my wc3 version.

also, what happened to "Agerrron's Treachery"?

It was just the same as this one but worked with the older patches.

it s the same campaign but it has been updated you will version 1.30 at least to play i remember that in dawn of the twilight hammer campaign page there were some link to higher version like 1.29,2 and .1.30.4 and 1.31

This is the same bug that someone had posted earlier in this thread. The problem is pretty obvious. You are using the 1.31, which still has this bug:

As tulee said in the post above, it is better to use the patch that the campaign recommends (1.30):
All patches can be found on hiveworkshop. The most stable for campaigns is probably 1.30.4. The only issue with 1.30.4 is some custom music is muted/won't work, but that bug was fixed in 1.32+ I think.

the more you progress into a single campaign, the longer it takes to save a game. When you are at the score screen after finishing the campaign, when you click "ok" it will hang. I have a powerful PC btw.

The bug where the game is not responding after clicking "OK" is due to the fact you are using version 1.31.1. This problem seems related to the map containing a lot of leaks. To quote the author:
This version has a couple of significant bugs, one of which is particularly annoying - after playing a map, the game may freeze when trying to exit the score screen. Based on various reports (thanks @Ravager16829, @Daffa, @OutsiderXE) and personal testing, this seems connected to the map containing a lot of leaks, but it doesn't appear to impede the ability to play or progress through custom campaigns.

That said, as there is no known solution to this issue other than force-exiting the game (or editing maps to remove leaks, which can be cumbersome and requires some map editing knowledge, which not everyone has), I'd generally recommend using another version such as 1.30.4 or 1.29.2 (LINK) and reserving 1.31.1 only for playing maps or campaigns that were made specifically for it.
7. Freeze / black screen when exiting the score screen:

This is most likely caused by the map containing a lot of leaks. Sadly, there's no known solution to that problem other than opening maps and fixing memory leaks, so I'd generally recommend using another version (e.g. 1.30.4 or 1.29.2 - LINK) if possible.

If you're forced to use 1.31.1, because the map requires it, your options are:

a) Force-exit the game (what worked best for me was quickly clicking inside the game window once it freezes so Windows displays the "the application is not responding pop-up, giving you an option to close the game, but you can also try using the Task Manager [CTRL+ALT+DELETE] to terminate the process, logging out of your Windows account or even restarting the PC). If you're worried about losing campaign progress - it shouldn't happen.

b) Ask the map maker to fix their map / campaign or you can attempt to do this yourself, given you have pretty basic modding knowledge - read this thread to find out more about leaks (LINK) then edit map(s) to remove them, looking especially for triggers with periodic (i.e. every x.x seconds) events.
Although you can still force-close the game, that version is technically NOT recommended. There are too many bugs you might encounter such as broken gameplay (due to the triggers relating to the units aren't working after loading a saves) and broken melee AI (heroes can't pick up their spells).

So sad there's a lot of bugs but loving the custom textures especially ground textures btw. The only thing I did was after finishing all quests, instead of clicking "continue", I instead click "quit campaign". When I reach the score screen and click "ok" it will not hang. It will take me instead back to warcraft 3 main menu. From there I load the campaign through custom campaign and I manually select the next chapter. Worked fine for me. Is the same error present in the sequel (The Fate of Ashenvale)?

What is the actual bug you encountered during that point? I think it's the common problem if you are using the latest version of WC3.
There's quite an impressive number of bugs you might encounter when you play the single player campaign in WC3.

I've had this too, I've completed everything in the first mission, and even used "Allyourbasearebelongtous" which did come up with a "Cheat Enabled" message, but the map still didn't actually end. I've even tried restarting it and using the cheat right at the beginning and still didn't end. I am playing on 1.31, so not sure if thats the issue compared to the other guy having the patch as 1.30.
