My newest Project: Advanced Wars!
Description: In the icy north two waring nations sent out their best soldiers to decide the ever ongoing war in a Tournament, which will settle the conflicts once and for all. The two teams will best each other in several 'Arenas' ranging from simple Deathmatch to Capture The Flag, in order to score points for their nation. At the end of the tournament the losing nation will subdue itself to the winner and the war will be ended. At least that's how it's supposed to go.
Gameplay: Pick a class and setup your team. A good team build counts! Medics heal your allies, Snipers can take out enemies and Shield Troopers can take more bullets than a tank. Enter the Arena and kick your enemies ass. Depending on the gamemode you will have to destroy the enemy base, capture a flag or just kill 'em all to win. Quick reflexes and teamwork will be needed for you to succeed.
Classes: At the moment you can pick from Assault Gunners, Shield Troopers, Commanders, Snipers, Medics and Tech Mages. You can furthermore unlock the classes Assassin, Firebat and Engineer. More classes are to come. All classes have a unique skill set of one pre-learned spell, 4 spells that can be leveled up to 4 times and one ulti. All classes have unique roles and play differently, and every single class helps the team in a different way.
Arenas: At the moment the Arenas are: dm_square, dm_gun_control, aos_bases, ctf_plains and dm_obsidian. Many more Arenas are to come, as the game is in Beta phase.
Environment: Holding a higher position is extremely benefiting as it grants a better vision and attacks from lower ground have a high chance of missing, which is especially useful for snipers who need a long vision. Shooting red barrels will cause them to explode, dealing damage in a radius, but be careful the barrels can't tell enemy from friend.
Standing near stationary guns allows you to shoot with them, dealing fair amounts of damage and controlling an area. But if you leave the guns alone they won't shoot and can be taken by enemies!
Features: Players will experience intense team-play, as they fight the other team. All classes and items are carefully balanced and made with a lot of thought and love. Playing the map will mostly require skill and players who play with a lot of skill, will be awarded. The game furthmore keeps track of all the players kills, deaths and the damage he deals, takes and heals. Players can therefore allways retrieve these stats in order to compare themselves to other players or older stats. This way players have a real way of comparing their skill.
A save/load system allows players to store how often they lost and won games and which classes they prefer to play. Other players can then see their profile and these profiles can be used to unlocked 3 new unique classes, which are also balanced and fun to play.
