Hello Hive community!
I've been around The Hive for awhile now and felt like it's about time I'd introduced myself.
I have been involved in various Wc3 project over the years. Some of you might remember me from the FPSMod @ wc3Campaigns (~2003). I used the nick 'Ion' by then and was working on the network-protocol (which was dropped unfortunately) for the project.

My greatest contributions to the modding community is probably my software-engineering skills. I have a bachelor's degree in computer-sciences and have worked on many wc3-related applications over the years (for example my Wc3Browser which is submitted here). Other programs of interest may be BattleSkink(tm!) (allowes hosters of battle-net games to invite users without battle-net access), a jass syntax-highlighter and others.

If you want to know anything about me or ask me any questions; please send me a PM or contact me otherwise.

Hello, Risc! Welcome to The Hive Workshop.

Even though you have been here before, allow me to welcome you to the site. Feel free to have a look around the site's many forums for some topic or conversation that you find interesting. Don't be afraid to jump right into the community.

If you have questions, make sure you use the search feature. We get a myriad of questions posed to our boards every day on all kinds of Warcraft III issues, so your very question may have been answered in the past. Make sure to check out the site rules before you start posting - it will give you a good general idea of how the community is run. Though, from what you have said, it seems you have the situation well in hand. :p

A good place to start would probably be the World Editor Help forum if you are looking for map assistance. If not, then there are plenty of people that you might enjoying helping, or perhaps you'd rather find some forum to discuss your favorite topic. If you're working on a Warcraft map or are looking for a good one to play, the Map Section could be a great resource. Don't forget about all of the other resources as well. Links to their sections can be found at the top of any site page.

Welcome to The Hive!
