this should probably be posted in the off-topic section, but it applies to this section and it probably won't get read by the right people otherwise, not to mention that it is ABSURD.

anyways, the issue is as follows:

NUBS STOP TITLING YOUR THREADS AS JUST "HELP ME PLZ", "NEED HELP" OR "I NEED A QUESTION ANSWERED"

being specific would help your cause, as well as lessening the monotony and giving people an idea of what you need before they actually read your thread.
if they know what you need right off the bat, it will help nubs that post questions that have been asked before, i.e: the few dozen "how do i make a hero above level 10" questions that i imagine would be recieved yearly here.

some people may even skip over questions that are just titled "help me!" or "need help!" or "i have a question"
i know for a fact that i for one am honestly considering it

another problem with the simple little "help me" titling is that it's hard to tell one "help plz" from another. this will boost the views, giving you the impression that more people care than there are that actually do, OR lure in people that would otherwise not care. if you have insecurities like that or something, or enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling that you may or may not get from having a much looked-at topic then whatever, go ahead and waste the valuable time of others.

a third issue, is that if you only title it "i need help" or "question" you give the impression that you're either not very creative or hopelessly defecient in the mental area.

so ENOUGH ALREADY!
we get that there are mobs of people out there who need help with mapmaking problems ranging from laughably simple to mind-numbingly complex. you should get that it would help us to help you if you titled your thread properly.
just take a look at the title of THIS thread. made go grab attention, and if you're reading it i guess it did it's job.

edit: "doesn't matter" was added to the poll options, and yes i know it was stupid of me not to remember it the first time
