Ok, I hope this makes it a little easier to understand.
- Hero starts the map with the ability No Passive
- Hero casts the ability Earthslam
- Hero replaces the No Passive ability with Earthslam (passive)
- (at this point, earthslam passive either goes away after 10 seconds or gets used and...
I remember looking around for the answer to this, because I wanted to know the same thing.
This is what you need; that gives you the move speed, and bonus damage, and no invisibility. But, at the end add
Action - remove (Your Buff) from (Attacking Unit)
That way, there's no abuse.
It's called Earthslam. When the hero casts it (I've based it on the Beserk ability), he replaces his passive spell with Earthslam Passive, which lets him bash for one attack and then removes it.
Problem is, all the hero's abilities add and remove passive spells. How can I have each ability...
First off, before you say anything, it's not an 'Omnislash' ability.
So, I had this crazy idea. What is, when the hero blinkstriked to an enemy, it would spawn two copies of itself and those copies would blinkstrike to one random enemy (in this case, the enemies are...
Basically, a unit that 'levels' like a hero.
But not a hero.
So, it would kill something, and gain xp, and improve it's stats (in some way) but it wouldn't be a hero.
[I hope that makes the slightest bit of sense.]
So, question: how can I do it? (Werewolf: Transylvania has units that...
Thanks a lot, all three of you.
Section, while you're code accomplished what I wanted pretty much perfectly, it's all in JASS!
And JASS scares me D:
So big and arcane looking...
But thank you very much anyway.
What I want to happen is a unit casts Shockwave, and when the Shockwave spell reaches the end of it's path, it explodes.
The explosion does, say, 300 damage, which increases by 300 damage per level of Shockwave (3 levels). The Shockwave spell functions normally, it just explodes at the end...
essentially, what I want to happen is a unit enters a region (a thin region). When it does, an arrow will fly in a straight path along that region.
It doesn't attack the unit - it just flies along the path. if it collides with the unit, then yes, the unit will take damage.
(It can be any...
(Sorry, internet has been acting up for the past few days.)
I did everything I was pretty much supposed to do - copy & pasted the Divine Shield ability and changed it appropriately and made the hero activate it when he reached 2750 health.
And I did it without messing around with spawning...
The title should be explanatory enough, but if not...
What I want to do is this:
Say a boss monster's health is, I don't know, 20%. I want that hero to cast Divine Shield on himself and summon a bunch of monsters that the brave adventurers have to fight.
Once all creeps are down, Divine...
Hope this helps, even it just gets the brain into work mode :)
Hero name: Ranger of the Frozen Wastes
Stat (from highest to lowest): Agi, Int, Str
Damage type: Ranged
Offensive spell: Frost Shot (like Fire Arrow)
Deals damage, slows attack and movement speed to a single target.
If Aspard (or anyone) is indeed taking new requests, then I have something interesting (well, I think it is) to request;
1 level (or if you really wanted, 6)
70 Mana cost
Each spell have a 25% chance of being picked.
What it does: It randomly picks between...
I have a problem with my map.
For some reason, it throws up an error whenever I try to run it and insists the fault lies with 'AnimationRun' and 'AnimationStand'.
The map's included - I was hoping you could tell me what's wrong with it.
So let me get this straight...
Your unit is a hero, and (presumably) has a few abilities that heroes can get, but doesn't earn experiance and therefore cannot improve those abilities through normal means.
So, if that's the case, why is there any reason for them to be heroes? Why can't they be...
I hope you won't turn away another spell or two :)
[Keeping in mind that these wern't made to be possible, they're made to be cool/inspire]
Drains health and mana from an enemy unit. in addition, the target cannot attack and all nearby units (including the target)...
I completely failed to submit my judging. >.<
This, children, is what happens when you're a procrastinating bum.
Although, I don't remember seeing any "Judges need to hand in their judging by XX/YY/2010".
