I’m currently playing this campaign and I’m at chapter 9. Overall you did a good job, it is very faithful to warcraft 2 universe and it reminded me good memories.
Nonetheless, I think some things need to be changed/improved. I played with patch 1.31 and I chose to use the heroes.
@SonOfLight make sure you play with the recommended patch, I had no issue with patch 1.29
you have to go to evandale city, which is top right of the shimmerwoods map
dark woods is an optional area you can access later in the game

During my playthrough the door automatically opened when I was close to it and using the vision cheat is pointless because you already see the entire map.

I'm drawing near the end of the campaign and I don't want to miss anything, also with the amount of hidden optional quests, this campaign really needs a walkthrough.

The difficulty is not overhelming so far: the more annoying creeps I've encountered were the shades in the dark wood (their spells were very powerful and they were only level 8) and the giant turtles...
I just arrived to Evandale city and I wanted to give some feedbacks for my gameplay experience.
I really like the campaign so far, quests are original, exploring the map is rewarding, the item system looks nice, the plot seems interesting and there's also easter eggs (the bear!).
OK it was just an infortunate bug I guess. By using mass teleport I simultaneously returned the sidequest and the main quest, so that the custscene intoducing the next main quest wasn't triggered.
I've tried many times and it's not a persistent bug, just bad luck

that's exactly what happened. The quest of the 3 sigil is marked as completed but I didn't receive the item.
I'm playing on 1.29.2 PTR
what I also did before returning the quest is visiting the den of dragons
None of my heroes has the sigil of trollbane
I think the game got confused because I turned at the same time the main quest of the 3 sigils and the side quest of the ogre.
Also by completing the sidequest of the ogre's head, according to my log I'm supposed to get an item called silent huntress...
I had a great time so far but I'm kinda stuck.
In arathi highland (act 2), I can't complete the trol'kelar quest. The event has been triggered but the iron gate is still closed.

For that mission, go for the green undead base (north) asap. After a few attacks the base will be crippled and you'll only have to deal with 2 undead bases.

I really don't want to be rude and I am well aware people put some efforts in this campaign but at the same time I don't want players to be deluded by the ratings.
Overall this campaign is a regression compared to the lonely nightstar campaign...
I am playing on normal difficulty and compared to this legends of arkains series is a piece of cake.

The first playable map seems to be the third one: i can see the mini map and the icon of the heroes but the main screen stays black and I can't do anything
I also replayed this campaign with the new patch, it's still a very good one, very similar to Tomaraider's work
