Would a function like this fit your needs?
The formula is ((cos(time * pi / 12) + 1) / 2) * (max - min) + min
"time" is daytime between 0 and 24.
"min" and "max" are minimum and maximum values the function can yield.
This pretty much.
Anyway, I'm not certain that simply placing the objects will generate corresponding variables (I could be wrong, I haven't modded in a while), but if it's not the case, you can always make a simple GUI trigger that will refer to your objects (such as destroying them) and then...
Your new units need to fit the description given in the How-to-use section of the code.
You get errors because you use an array, which isn't really needed and has different syntax from what is used in custom script.
Just make the variables listed in the variable editor. Then in an initialization...
I have a better quiz for you:
A bus left the Scarlet Devil Mansion; three people boarded at the start. At Hakugyokurou, one left and half a person boarded. At Yakumo-san's house, two people left.
So how many passengers in total?
Zero. There are no buses in Gensokyo.
Models don't require changing the path (.mdx files), only textures do (.blp). (Unless you're replacing a model).
So if you're importing a skin, you can look up the unit, whose skin you're changing, texture path with Warcraft3Viewer or Wc3 Image Extractor (I think those are the names).
Nah, I did a similar system a while ago. It actually may be helpful to RiotZ.
The difference is that in the linked testmap, the obstacle is a dummy unit called Wall. You can...
Simple solution is to make a loop that will advance a point from attacker to the attacked on each iteration and check whether the point is pathable. As soon as you hit an unpathable location, exit the loop and issue a stop order to the attacker.
This is similiar to what Dr Super Good...
I think this is what the OP is trying to avoid. Considering he barely knows anything about preloading, I don't think he's using it in his map. Actually, he probably thinks the models are preloaded during loading screen, but wants to delay this.
I'm not sure, but I think Aero is asking what to remove in order to reduce campaign loading time, so that he can load whatever he has removed later, during the game.
Well, you can't really add models during game and as far as I know preloading them won't reduce your loading time, but it will...
