Thank you for the kind comments!
Always loved the design of these and always felt they would fit well in the Warcraft 3 universe. Especially since they're
still from the early era of WoW with the old warcraft feel to them.
Prior to the destruction of Draenor and Outland there were two factions of primal beings fighting for dominance.
On one side the mighty Breakers made of rock and magma. And on the other the Primals serving and seeking to spread life and nature.
The strongest of these beings were the Magnaron...
Core hounds are massive two-headed fiends of molten magma and without question one of the most powerful beings the plane of fire has to offer.
They are found in the deepest caverns, volcanoes and dungeons and are often accompanied by other denizens of fire pledged to serve Ragnaros, the...
Before I upload my models I have a couple of criteria I'd like to finish.
Model, Sound, Animations, Icons, preview pictures and potential tweaks.
Some models may have been showcased in the past but are not yet uploaded because they lack icons, some tweaks or finishing of textures etc
Thanks for the tip but it's more of an artistic choice, I keep the models on vertex par with the original Warcraft 3 models to make them fit the game better, most of the models go upwards 2000 before I look for areas where I can weld vertices together to lower the size etc
Less is more...
Wanted to keep them in line with the Forgotten One tentacles already in the game, making sure they were a bit squared ^^
Already working on the third one "Death... is.... close.... Your friends will abandon you...."
That's the idea, yup!
Also working on the...
To clarify, this is not the model from WoW but a custom model made from the ground up with custom textures and animations to fit the Warcraft 3 universe better and to lower the filesize
The tentacles are also custom made to fit the style and rig of the WC3 Tentacles from the Forgotten one
Thank you very much! With each model I try to get as close to the original WC3 style as possible to make sure the models blend well together in-game.
Who knows, might very well be a Tusked Frostfire Ridge Gronn
Hello there once again Spas! You've been asking me for quite a while about...
The larger and more primal relative of the Ogres, the Ogron are massive single-eyed brutes wielding gnarly spiked clubs with an even worse temper.
In the past, they were part of the Breakers family derived from the great Grond but are now primarily used as bruisers and guards by the...
You could potentially raise the texture underneath his eyes for a smoother glow and raise the nostrils to be underneath the nose instead of below it.
Apart from that, it looks really nice.
Excellent work on these!
The different wooden structure but same roofing make them distinct from all the normal human buildings but still
give them a very recognizable but unique look.
Only thing I had thoughts on would perhaps be the altar, perhaps make a statue of a captain holding the anchor?
