Silverhand Units

Description:
  • Unit Models for the Knights of the Silverhand.

    Unit Name
    Description
    Initiate

    Basic Melee unit with Defend ability
    Armored Archer

    Ranged unit can be an upgrade of a basic archer unit
    Knight

    Heavily armored melee unit with animal training upgrade and sundering blades ability
    Defender

    A human alternative for spell breakers with spell steal and feedback ability. can also learn the control magic ability. Compared to the Spell breaker, Defender does not have spell immunity but have the magic defense ability
    Gryphon Rider

    Flying unit. Gryphon mounted by an armored archer. Can learn the multishot ability which allows the unit to attack up to three targets at once.
    Eagle Knight

    Flying melee unit that are good in attacking enemy air units. It also have the magical spear upgrade that allows it to attack ground units. Can also have the cloud ability similar to the Dragonhawk Rider.
    Pilgrim
    Basic Worker unit with Call to Arms ability. Can transform into a Zealot.
    Zealot
    Lightly armored melee unit converted from Pilgrims with Call to Arms abilities.
Notes:
  • These are supposed to be experimental models to learn how to animate models and to learn more about the process of making custom geosets.
  • Animations of these models will be subject for improvement in future updates.
  • If you can and if you have time it will be really good to have a custom pack of icons for these models.
  • Notify me for any issues in each models.
  • Please give proper credits when using any models from this pack.
  • Do not upload any part of this pack to other sites
    (seriously why are you uploading models from hive creators to other websites you are not even asking permission and not giving proper credits???)
  • Do not edit without permission
Updates:
  • Added Pilgrim (Worker unit) and Zealot (Militia unit)
    Note: Change the Run and Walk Speed of the Zealot to 320 to make it move in proper speed.

Same as your other packs - The polygon amount for the most basic units is too high and I would really like you to reduce the polygon count to something closer to original wc3 models. You should aim for units at about 1200-1500 polygons.

Love this pack! Any chance of getting some spell animations for the knight since they are presumably paladins?
To clarify those Knights are not Paladins they are just Knights..waiting for promotion to become Paladins. The names of the other ground units are also based upon this idea. Though I forgot to include it in the description. Note as well that this is my own idea for the pack and not directly lore based.

Initiate >>>> Knight >>>> Paladin

other units are only just included to complete the set for melee map format.

The Defender is an equivalent of the battlemage but wielding the holy light.. I am thinking of giving it an ability based on Abolish magic minus the spell steal ability of Battlemages.

so basically these units are specifically made for my melee maps there is no Paladin yet since in my melee map Paladins are designated as a hero class.

Ah ok! Since the Paladin is going to be an upgrade of the knight does that mean it will be mounted? If so would it be possible to also make a non-hero version alongside the planned hero version?

Nice thinking and very creative sir bakr of using the Silverhand old banner crest in some of your units shields (Footman, Knight, Battlemage) 👌. I think another version of those units that match the rally point banner design is a great addition to the pack and distinguish them apart from the Stromgarde crest, well great work as always 👍.
